It slid down the delivery trunk of the Queen's egg sack, muscles expanding and contracting to move it along its course. The sack vent hovered over sludge, expanding to accomodate the embryonic seeder egg. Sticky fluid oozed out of its opening. The fluid was secreted from the Queen mother's reproductive organs to lubricate the internal chambers and delivery trunk of the egg sack. The Queen lowered the egg sack's delivery vent, resting her first egg down in the shallow sludge with a moist expulsion of air.
Another egg begin its journey down the delivery trunk.
On the far wall, one of thirteen forms let out a weak moan.
It wouldn't be long, not long at all.
The Queen Xenomorph layed a second egg in the sludge next to the first, a third egg already on its way down the egg sack's delivery trunk.
