The experiments with the New Mexico whiptail lizard, or Project Lesbos, was one of Animalia's most daunting and potentially controversial projects yet. As the only fully-female species capable of parthenogenisis, the whiptail offered a unique opportunity for lesbians and trans women who want to become Animalians but would rather not change their orientations or become herms.
Initially, the experiments seemed like a success. However, when two whiptails started feeling some sexual draw towards some male lizards at the gym, the whole project was called into question. If they were supposed to be an all-female lesbian race, why would they feel any attraction to males? As such, further conversions were postponed until the breeding season to determine how their reproduction would work.
And now that time was here and the experiment could begin. It's actually quite simple. The whiptails would be divided into two groups. One group, the control group, would consist of female pairings who will engage in intercourse until eggs are produced. The other group, the treatment group, would be paired with male lizards until eggs were produced. To deal with Animalia's crossbreeding edict, the males were little striped and western whiptails, the New Mexico whiptail's closest relatives. The experiment will first study how long it would take each group to conceive eggs. Then after the eggs are laid and hatched, the offspring's genes will be examined.

Unsurprisingly, the first two whiptails, Sappho and Susan, chose to be in the control group with each other. The two of them formed a very close bond ever since Susan's conversion. They had been waiting almost a year for this breeding season, even before the all-female aspect of their race was called into question.
"Are you sure this is going to work?" asked Susan. She had grown out her hair, but no longer than neck length.
"I know it will," said Sappho, "I can feel my womb calling me to make eggs. It just needs a little...stimulation."
"And what about me? Will I be laying an egg too?" asked Susan.
"I should hope so," said Sappho, "I know you're going to be an excellent mother."
"So how exactly are we going to stimulate each other?" asked Susan.
"Oh, that's going to be the fun part," said Sappho before pulling her mate in with a deep kiss. Before long, the two of them were naked and were grinding their slits together.
"Is this really...how normal whiptails...do it?" asked Susan between deep breaths.
"More or less, but this is even better," said Sappho before she suckled from Susan's breast.

In the testing group, the whiptails there had varying reasons for wanting to couple with males. Pho had a bit more of a complex reason. She was originally a man whose body image completely contrasted with her inner image. Even the sight of a penis between her legs felt alien to her, which is why she didn't want to become a herm. Becoming a whiptail felt so much more right. Of course, she was so focused on her own body that she hadn't paid enough attention to other people's bodies, asides from raw envy towards women. But did she felt any attraction to men?
She had to admit, the male she was paired with was pretty cute. Considering he has a blue tail, he was apparently a little striped whiptail, though she wouldn't call him little. He wasn't as overly-muscled as some of the other Animalians, but he had a lean and detailed physique.
"So, Rosco, is it?" asked Pho.
"Right," said Rosco.
"Do you feel ready?" asked Pho.
"Not entirely," said Rosco, "I used to just like men and, well, this is a big adjustment."
"I know," said Pho, "That's why I brought these." She held up a small bag with pink gummies in it.
"Are those Passion Spice gummies?" asked Rosco.
"I just thought we might need a little extra drive," said Pho. Not that she required much. She felt herself getting more turned on looking at his body.
"I suppose one or two wouldn't hurt," said Rosco.
About 10 minutes later, Rosco was balls deep in Pho. Well, he would be if his testicles weren't internal now. Pho was finding that being filled up with lizard dick was much more enjoyable than she ever would have imagined. Especially when started pumping seed into her. Pho let out a satisfied sigh and said, "You sure know how to please a woman."
"I guess I do," said Rosco, "Though we probably shouldn't tell our kid this was how they were conceived."
"Rosco, no one wants to know how they were conceived," said Pho bluntly.
"That's true," agreed Rosco.
