“I really don’t want to turn back before we get out of town,” said Sorhafe “How bad would the side effects be if they happened?”
“I’m not sure,” Erica replied “The alchemist said it might mix with the potion that got you into your current predicament and make it worse. I don’t think we want that.”
Erica puts a hand on Sorhafe’s shoulder, reassuringly.
“There’s nothing to be ashamed of, though. I’ll be right here with you, and no matter what form you take, you’ll always be beautiful to me.”
Steph mockingly gagged “You girls aren’t going to be all lovey dovey the whole time, are you? I didn’t come along to be a third wheel.”
Sorhafe saw a glint of mischief in Erica’s eye, as she turned to Steph.
“Oh, but you could join us, Steph,” Erica said, as she pulled Steph into the group hug with Sorhafe “I bet those strong arms could really handle the two of us. The three of us could have a magical night sleeping under the stars.” Steph’s face was red, as she tried to move as little as possible, to avoid accidentally touching either of the other women’s breasts.
“I, um, um,” Steph stuttered, then relaxed “I might take you up on that.”
Erica released the hug “Really? I never knew you swung that way.”
Steph shrugged “Maybe I’m feeling a little adventurous. Now, I believe we wanted to check out the quest board?”
The moment over, the three adventurers moved over to the quest board. There appeared to be three: one appeared to be scrawled by a child wanting help to find their lost pet cat, Reward: 5 gold. Another was an escort quest to transport the same wizard who had enchanted Sorhafe’s new clothes to the next village to investigate a magical disturbance before returning, Reward: 40 gold. The third was listed as a 2 month expedition into the wilderness to take over a bandit fortress, for 10 gold per week.
Having looked at the quests, the adventurers discuss them.
