"First, we should go talk to the little girl that put the notice up, see if she can tell us where she lost the cat," Erica said "Should give us a better idea of where to look first."
"Can we hurry up?" Sorhafe asked, nervous about the potion wearing off. Did Erica and Steph look shorter? Or was it just her imagination?
"If you want to go wait outside of town, me and Steph can go ask our questions," Erica said
"No, what if you need help? We shouldn't split the party this early," Sorhafe insisted, following Erica towards a small house near the edge of town.
Erica knocked on the door. A girl of about eight or nine years old opened the door.
"Are you Ilara?" Erica asked, smiling. The girl dipped her head.
"Uh-huh, are you adventurers?" she asked in return
"Yes," said Erica "We had a few questions about the quest you put on the board. Could you show us where you lost your cat?"
"Let me put my shoes on, and I'll show you," she said. After doing so, she leads the party out to the edge of the forest, and to an area with alot of trees. Sorhafe had grown almost a head taller at this point. She hoped it wasn't too noticeable yet.
"Thank you, little one. We can take it from here," Erica said, and the little elven girl ran off back to the village.
Sorhafe, trying to distract herself from her growing body, she looked around at the area. It was surprisingly easy to pick out the trail of a small cat. Sorhafe began following the trail, until it went up a tree. Looking up, it was just as easy to track the cat's movements through the trees. Gaining in confidence, Sorhafe sped up, tracking the cat through the forest. She came to a place where there seemed to be two paths where the cat could have gone.
