Both Jeff and Ethan sit down on the couch, before Jeff starts to explain dog behavior to the young boy, “well, we dogs sniff each other as a greeting. There is a lot of information we can get from sniffing each other’s bums,” he says.
“So, that is why you sniff at humans,” Ethan says, inwardly grinning, ‘this is so much fun, he really thinks he is a dog, hehe…,’ he thinks to himself.
Jeff nods, “correct, we sniff at humans in order to tell if they are “good” or “bad”,” he says.
“How good is your smell and hearing,” Ethan then asks.
“Now… it’s… not good,” Jeff says, “I feel deaf, and I can’t really smell anything. Being a human sucks, I wanna be myself as soon as possible. But… our hearing and sense of smell is much more sensitive than human’s”.
“As I said, Milo,” Ethan says, “you’ll be back to your normal self in two hours”.
Jeff, thinking he has always been Ethan’s pet dog, lets out a sigh, “I know… but this is just to weird,” he says, “I… I don’t like this at all. It… it feels so wrong”. He then looks at Ethan, “why do humans wear such uncomfortable things? It feels so much better without”.
Ethan shrugs, “well, we can’t run around naked, that is against the law,” he explains, “besides that, we have no fur, so we have to wear clothes in order to keep warm”.
“Oh,” is all Jeff says, “so… what now?”
Ethan shrugs, “up to you,” he says, “we can watch something, we can head in the back yard and play something, we can just sit here and wait for you to transform back… depends what you wanna do, Milo”.
Jeff tilts his head as he thinks, after a few minutes, he says, “I think I want to…”.
