"Let's have her live in your dollhouse," Chloe said. "She can live there until she has changed her mind."
"I can't live there! It's not a real house," Vanessa telephatically communicated.
"And you're not a real person," Chloe snickered. She handed the Vanessa doll to Angie and said, "Find a place for her in your dollhouse. I will look at the computer at what we can do with her."
"Okay." Angie smiled. She wasn't sure about Chloe's idea of keeping Vanessa as a doll for too long, but playing with an alive doll, it seemed fun, and hopefully Vanessa would think so too.
She placed the Vanessa doll in the middle of the living room of the dollhouse. "So Vanessa? What do you want to do?"
"I want to be human again," she said with an annoyed voice, but meanwhile her doll form still had its same smiling plastic expression.
"Apart from that," Angie said. "Like we can dress you up. You're not wearing anything on top. Isn't that weird?"
"I guess," she replied, still sounding very much annoyed.
"Look. I'll show you some options. "Angie reached to the wardrobe in the bedroom of the dollhouse, opened it and pulled some clothes out. She laid out some doll-sized outfits in front of Vanessa, a summerdress, a camisole top, a sweater, a few different pants. "Anything you like?" she asked her.
"I don't know," Vanessa grumbled.
"Okay then. I'll pick for you. Hmm. How about this one?" she said and pointed at the sundress.
Meanwhile Chloe was looking at the Chronivac. Looking at Vanessa's profile, she wondered what she could further edit about her. She'd given her the abillity to communicate telepathically, but there was more. She could give Vanessa a limited abillity to move and express herself. And looking to the side where Angie played with the completely stiff Vanessa-doll, giving her some movement seemed needed. Chloe applied the feature, but she applied it so that it was only in effect while Vanessa stayed in the doll house.
Meanwhile with Angie and Vanessa. Angie held a naked Vanessa doll. While she was "naked" it was just smooth plastic. Suddenly, from being completely stiff, the doll squirmed in Angie's hand. Movements limited by the doll joints, but she was actually moving.
"This is so cool!" Angie exclaimed. "Did you do this Chloe?"
"Yep!" Chloe replied.
Angie stopped trying to dress Vanessa and placed her back in the dollhouse. Vanessa awkwardly moved her doll limbs. After sone stumbling, she just managed to take a full step.
"This feels so weird," Vanessa said, her way of communicating still being telephatically.
It's better right?" Chloe asked.
"Better? I don't want to be a doll. Just turn me back please," Vanessa begged.
"Nope." Chloe giggled.
Angie looked in awe at the doll moving. She then looked over her house and imagined her dollhouse being inhabitated by moving dolls. That'd be so cool. "Could we have more dolls like Vanessa?" Angie asked Chloe.
"What do you mean?"
"Well. I was thinking...?"
