You cannot believe that the ice cream transformed you this way, changing both your gender and ethnicity, but you cannot deny that it did happen, so you have to come to terms with the fact that you are at least for now, an African man and NOT a pretty, petite white lady like you were your entire life. You can't deny that an awkward conversation with your boyfriend Mark will be inevitable so you decide it's best to just tell him what happened and hope for the best.
Since it's a bit easier, you decide to just pick up your smart phone and call him...
The phone is ringing and after a few stressful seconds, you hear Mark's voice. "Hey Anna, what's up babe?", he says warmly.
You muster all your courage and speak back, in your new deep voice: "Mark... don't freak out okay? It's me, Anna, I know I sound completely different but trust me, it's me! Look... something crazy happened. I was at the beach trying to get a bit of a tan without burning my super pale skin, when some lady came around with a cart of ice cream... I bought a chocolate ice cream from her and... well somehow after eating it I... I transformed into a totally different person... an African guy! I know, this sounds crazy but I hope you'll believe me, I swear this isn't a prank!"
Mark is silent for a couple of seconds, then he unexpectedly bursts into laughter like it was nothing, or like this was not a horror story. "Ha ha babe! Anna you ate one of those new TG ice creams from the Magic Shop, haha don't panic okay?" Mark tells you in a lighthearted tone.
"Don't panic?! Mark I changed sex and race! I don't want to be a dude!!" You snap back.
"Relax babe... The changes from the TG ice cream aren't permanent, you'll change back after the magical effect wears off. Ha ha it looks like from the sound of things you ended up getting quite the tan after all, eh? Ha ha!"
"Mark... that isn't funny at all!! Oh god, so the change isn't permanent? Oh thank god!! So how long does this thing last??" You ask, hoping he'll say about an hour or so.
"Okay okay, I wasn't trying to make fun of you, babe, you know I love you. Hmm, I don't know how long it lasts frankly... maybe a couple of days? I know that last month a girl at my workplace came at the office one day changed from the office hottie into a shy nerdy boy... She had eaten a TG ice cream as well just for fun and everyone thought it was a hoot... Hmm, well I know she remained a nerdy guy for a couple of months before she finally returned to her real appearance, so I'm not sure if she ate the ice cream multiple times to avoid the "detransition" or if she only ate it once and that's how long it lasted."
"Okay, cool story but I don't want to be stuck like this for a whole two months Mark! We have to find out more about this magic ice cream, please help me!" You cry back.
"Sure thing babe, don't worry we'll figure this out and I repeat don't stress out, regardless this isn't going to be permanent!"
"It better not be... Okay so what are we going to do? What's the best lead on this?"
