Daniel headed to his pc and switched it on. His insides were buzzing. If this was true he could do anything. And there was something he had daydreamed about.
He clicked start and then programs and looked through the list... nothing new. It was a lie. Some kind of mind trick he must have played on himself. He closed the menu and was about to switch off the screen when he noticed an icon in the centre of the screen.
It looked like a picture of a solar system and underneath read. "The Universal Program"
He double click on it and a message appeared.
"What would you like to know / do?"
Underneath was a box to type in.
Daniel typed:
"Make me a shapeshifter. I want to be able to change my body and mind any way I like and back again."
He felt a tingling inside his brain, kinda like figuring out how to do something after a long time thinking about it. He realized he had hit upon the secret of how to shapeshift. Daniel's heart raced, wondering what to start by doing. He wrote a list- age, species, gender, sexuality, race, time period, and more- and after a little consideration decided which to go with.
