"I wish for my desires to come true!", Mike said. I shake my head, facepalming, "Really? First thing you do when becoming 18 is spend money into a wish machine and you make it that vague?".
Yup, that was my bonehead friend for sure. We've known each other for years now and he never changed. Mike's your average guy, a bit slender, short brown hair, you know... average. Nothing bad about it of course, he's smart (I swear), kind, we play video-games together, he's a nice guy. He's not the kind of guy I'd be in a relationship with, but that's ok, he's still a good friend and he seems to get that (even if I catch him sneaking glances at me but that's normal... right?)
Mike replied, "Come on, Laura, I thought I'd save money by granting all my wishes at once like that. You wouldn't happen to want to do a wish to test out if it works?". I thought about it for a second but declined, grinning smugly "Nah, I'm good. Besides, I don't want to waste money like you did". Seriously, I don't think I'd change a thing about myself. Sure, I'm a bit average myself, but I think I'm pretty. B-cups, a nice waist, a butt that... isn't flat, brown hair in a bob-cut, boring brown eyes... Ok maybe I would have changed a few things, but I'm not about to be scammed for it!
"Alright, alright," he said, interrupting my thoughts, "oh well, let's get going, we have class in half an hour". Right, I almost forgot! "Urgh, right, with Cummings too, he's such a pain!", I replied, holding Mike's hand. He looked at me, confused and blushing. God, he's so cute when flustered, "C'mon, shy guy, we're dating, remember? Too flustered to hold a girl's hand?". He looked even more confused, "W-what? But- Since when?". I rolled my eyes, "Really? It's been a few months, shy guy. C'mon, let's not waste time, it's time to go". I don't know why he kept looking confused, I could see his eyes look into mine - he always had a thing for my blue eyes - maybe it's something to do with the machine and his "desires coming true" or whatever...? Nah, that's stupid, that couldn't be what's happening. Either way, we walked towards...
