Noah had barely stepped foot into the school before a large arm had grabbed him by the shoulder, pulling him toward the classrooms and away from the thumping bass of the gym. He twisted and turned, doing his best to pull free, but no matter what he did his captor maintained a death grip on his shoulder. He finally turned far enough to see that it was one of the two seventh grade English teachers. He had never been one to fight against an adult but time is of the essence. "Let go of me!" He continued to struggle, only for the teacher to tighten his grip on his shoulder to the point it felt like the bone might actually break.
"Your father has ordered you to stay with me until he returns and that is what you are going to do." The teacher huffed, opening a classroom door and tossing him inside before standing guard at the doorway.
Noah took the chance to pull the dragon tears out, with the tiniest of motions he pulled the stopper out with his thumb and held the crystal heart up to his mouth, allowing a few drops to fall on his tongue. "I want to see my friends, and I want to see them now." He could feel the changes rippling through his body as his heart rate increased, his eyes took on a golden hue, his irises turning into snake like slits while a pattern of blue scales rippled just beneath his skin. "And you are going to let me go."
"Noah you are going to sit down, or you are going to find yourself in a world of.." The teacher was cut off as Noah grabbed his hand, draconic nails ripping through his fingernails and into the teacher's fist, tearing at his flesh, muscles, and tendons. "What the hell?!"
Noah glared at the teacher, pushing him back with inhuman strength as they moved into the hallway, a stream of blood following them out. "Leave me and my friends alone, or I am going to fry you!" He felt a gunk move up in his throat, like a glob of snot that seemed to come out of nowhere. His instincts told him to fling it, and so he did, coughing a large pile of yellowish fluid onto the teacher's shirt. It was thick and gross, but it smelled like gasoline.
"Your father will kill me!" The teacher pressed his body back against the locker while raising a bloody hand up to touch the goo on his shirt.
Noah clicked his teeth, flicking his forked tongue against his sharpening teeth like a match striking a rock, every time he flicked the tongue, sparks came popping out of his mouth. "I will kill you if you hurt my friends again!" He let a growl settle into his voice, moving closer with his sparks before pulling away and making a run for the gym.
He didn't care about the changes all he could think about was Shannon, if his classmates saw him as a seven foot dragon, so be it. Pushing aside the door with enough strength to nearly knock it off its hinges Noah entered the gym, his senses suddenly assaulted by smells of tween hormones, sweat, and very very loud music. Even through the lighting had dimmed in the gym his eyes had already shifted through various wavelengths, allowing him to move through the crowd of classmates to the two girls with wolf ears.
"Noah?!" Kaida was the first to gasp, seeing the slowly growing boy move toward him, already she could see the beginnings of his wings pull on his suit jacket. "What the hell are you doing?!"
"Shannon's in trouble, we have to hurry!" Were the only words that had to leave his mouth before Kaida grabbed his scaly hand and Anna's wrist and pushed them through the back exit of the gym. "My father's a Werebear, I think he's the Alpha." Noah finally caught his breath once they were outside and could be a bit less discrete.
"I'll get the others." Anna pulled her phone from her little purse and began to type into their group chat.
Noah glanced at the group chat on her phone, feeling a pang of jealousy as he worked to get his dress shirt off with out shredding it with his claws. "I don't know what direction he went, but I am pretty sure I can track dad's car." Noah finally unfurled his growing wings, allowing the fresh air to expand them.
Kaida reached out placing a hand on his shoulder before he could lift off. "I'm not Alpha Shannon but.." She held up her phone, displaying a QR code on the screen for their secret chat room. "Welcome to the Pack Noah."
