Shannon awoke in a white room, the walls were white, the ceiling was white, the curtains that seemed to cover half of the room were white. There was one door that she could see, and the room lacked any sort of windows. Above her the lights buzzed and gave off a similar sound to those in her middle school classroom. She tried to move an arm only to find herself chained to the metal table that she had woken on. Being a werewolf meant that modesty wasn't an issue for her, but as she lay there in the nude she wished that which ever werebear had chained her up, that they had at least kept her clothes on.
"Oh, you're awake, I was worried I had hit you too hard." Noah's father entered the room, she craned her head to look behind him, but could only see white hallways that stretched beyond her view. "I did some reading on you while you were asleep." He brought out a folder that seemed to glow all on it's own.
"A few years ago all of our city records were protected for magical interference, who knew that it would come in so handy." He sat down at the edge of the metal table she was strapped to and flipped through the pages in the folder. "This here says you are Shannon Andrews, you are an accomplished lawyer in your own right, a sizeable net worth, you have argued many successful law cases, and you are on the fast track of making partner at your firm."
Noah's father closed the file and looked down at her. "So why are you a thirteen year old girl, playing werewolf?" He asked as Shannon tested the strength of her bindings, she heard the table groan but so far they would not give. "From what I heard through the grapevine, is that you told the dragons that the ring of power did this to you, a ring that is now somewhere in my very own town."
The mayor narrowed his eyes. "You are going to tell me where it is, and I will let you go, I wont harm you, or your friends. I will continue my work to move to the state senate, and then the governorship, finally the White House." He ran a finger up Shannon's bare leg, stopping just short of her thigh before getting up. "I will even let your pack have this town, do we have a deal?"
Shannon glared back, the moment he came closer she snapped her jaws at him and tried to pull away from the table. She may have been in her human form, but she could at least be intimidating. "Screw off." She spat at him.
The mayor quickly looked toward the door and gave a signal, again the door opened, this time a small white furred werebear walked in, pulling a metal table similar to the one Shannon was strapped on, only this one contained a massive fish tank of green fluid. "Werewolves have a very remarkable healing factor, one that even surpasses weredragons when the moon is full, Doctor Lin here has wanted to test his theory out that if you slowly cut a werewolf into pieces, and take those pieces and preserve them, you can eventually make two werewolves." He chuckled and shook his head as the werebear that is Dr. Lin approached Shannon with a scalpel.
"Call me when she is ready to talk." He patted Dr. Lin on the shoulder before leaving the room. The door of the room closing as Dr. Lin sank the scalpel into the flesh of Shannon's big toe and began the process of removing it.
