Enoch was clearly worn out when he arrived at his Uncle’s estate. It wasn’t a large place. Compared to the Palace at Dis; Michael Morningstar’s home was a cabin; but was large enough for his family and friends. It was cozy
“Parthenope is on earth,” Micahael speaking as Enoch takes in the surrounding; “so you’ll meet her later.”
“She is just outside of the metro area of Paris,” Enoch admiring the amber accents on the clean white walls; “With my sister Miasma and Rachael.” Enoch looked at his Uncle with a sly smile; “a unique ability I acquired. I can feel life everywhere Uncle,” Enoch eyeing a spot next to the table and sitting on his haunches next to it. “Like I told the council; with concentration I can pinpoint where they are or anyone else is.”
“That’s impressive,” Michael arching an eyebrow; “Shame I missed the council, I had to take care of some business for Jehovah.”
“I’m sure he’ll give you the cliff notes of the meeting,” Enoch smiling; but it was clear he was trying to hold back a yawn.
“You want some coffee,” Michael looking at his newly angelic nephew.
“Oh please,” Enoch yawning; “strong and black.”

The coffee helped keep Enoch awake as he enjoyed the quite meal with his uncle. Charles coming home and bringing his Fiancé Stacy now the Custodia Ordins Gaia also joined; the tips of her wings and her antlers scraped the ceiling as she walked in; eliciting a giggle from Charles as he introduced her to his father Michael. Charles was taken aback by seeing the large white furred wolf-taur with dove like wings and a tanned complexion wearing a black t-shirt with a logo of a German metal band sitting by the table. His black shades were removed and Charles saw the most unsettling solid blue eyes he has ever seen.
“Charles,” Michael noticing the surprised look on his son’s face; “this is you cousin Enoch Morningstar.”
“Lucifer’s son,” Enoch nodding; “long story as to how I became an angel.”
“And it was quite the tale,” Gaia nodding as she was at the council and bore witness to the wolf-taur’s projection of the event in the Sihr Desert; “and so is the power that is within you.”
“Most of the council was unnerved with my eyes,” Enoch nodding to Gaia’s words; “but you never flinched.”
“There was no malice in those eyes,” Gaia taking a seat at the table; “but I do have questions.”
“If its about what I can do,” Enoch sighing; “even I’m not fully certain.”
“No,” Gaia answering; “I want to know about your family. The Morninstars in hell.”
**************
“Proserpina Morningstar,” Enoch indulging the curious Custodia Ordins; “is the eldest, followed by Nocticula. I was the third in our large family.”
Everyone at the table sat in silence as Enoch explained in order from oldest to youngest every member from the family. Stopping briefly to sip his coffee as he landed on Lamashtu; thinking on the words he had with her before she left the rescue mission to fix the boondoggle of Decree 13666 which kicked of the civil war in hell.
“Miasma,” Encoch smiling; "is the baby of the family. She is the Archduchess of the ninth circle and next to take dad’s place as the devil.”
“Mon dieu,” the angel with auburn hair and four snow white angels who Michael introduced as Celine. “That is a large family,” she adds in French.
“Father liked the sounds of children running everywhere,” Enoch answering in French; “he and mom loved each other very much.”
“You speak French,” Charles looking stunned.
“I can read, speak and write in every human language,” Enoch responding in ancient Summarian; “I was born a polyglot. Miasma also has that talent.”
“Let’s stick to a language all can understand,” Michael speaking in English; “you need more coffee Enoch?”
“Please,” Enoch nodding; “any nectar from a bloodbloom flower?”
“Bloodbloom,” Gaia speaking up; "what is that?”
“Oh that’s right,” Enoch shaking his head; “I’m so exhausted that I forget that that plant is not native here in heaven. It’s a flower that has thrived in the brutal conditions of Hell. It grows like a weed, has a pleasant fragrance and is pressed to create nectar that doubles as honey and a sweetener. I’d open a portal to pluck one to show you,” Enoch unable to hold back a yawn; “but I’m about ready to pass out with exhaustion.”
“Then I think it’s time to turn in,” Michael responding; “sad that Abrielle couldn’t be here.”
“We all have to do guard duty at the palace gate now and then dad,” Charles nodding; “tonight’s her night. But she would have like to meet you cousin,” Charles helping to put away the dishes as he spares another looked at Enoch's shirt; “she is the metal music fan and likes that band whose shirt you wear.”
“Rammstein is an acquired taste,” Enoch nodding; "not everyone likes to listen to a band sing in German."
