Behind the beautiful coastal Spanish town of Cadaqués, Spain sits many gentle rolling hills, on which MEATFEST 2028 was located.
On one particularly gentle slope sat a large, well constructed oval racetrack of synthetic rubber, surrounded by a grand ring of bleachers.
It was here that the refurbished sport of dorse racing, the first event of MEATFEST ever to be allowed to be aired on public television, would be held.
All the races were divided to fall under three categories:
Weight: The obvious.
Intelligence: Half of the races consist of ones with racers with human intelligence, while the other consists of races with racers with diminished or below-average intelligence.
Riders: Half of such races in either Intelligence category have riders on the dorse racers.
Other special races were constructed - some solely for racers with special mutant abilities, and others just for friendly publicity runs.
All dorse racers and their riders had been selected after vigorous testing from a applicant group of a couple hundred thousand individuals.
They had been training relentlessly for the rest of the year, all the way up until the event, to make a difference in the world.
Everything began to matter about the racers and their characteristics, making bets risky and predictions unreliable for this insane event.
Intelligence Level. Height. General Size. Vision Level. Lung Capacity.
Muscle Density. Fat Density. Breast Size and Amount. Limb Length. Limb Size. Limb Count. Jaw/Snout Length.
Stamina and Endurance Level. Libido Level. Penis Size and Length. Genital Types. Genital Count. Speed To Get Sexually Aroused.
Bladder Capacity. Salivation Level.
Conjoined? Multiple Heads? Hands, Feet, or Hooves? Additional Body Parts? Special Abilities?
Personality? Temperament? Emotional State?
All of these confounding factors could make or break a racer's ability to succeed in a race.
The varying body compositions and personalities of the racers also made them extremely colorful, individualistic, and unique - like MMA fighters.
The extensive betting options, the realization that the racers were taking it seriously, the fact that the racers were extremely colorful and individualistic, the fact that the racers were practically human (and pretty much all of them were sociable), and the global realization that the racers were actually attractive (no matter the perceived gender, all dorses have a touch of feminity), propelled the sport into serious popularity.
The event will be held once more at the 2029 MEATFEST.
