Now who should I change next? Kevin thought. Kevin was scanning the campus, trying to find one last person to test out some gradual changes for the next month or so. Three people just seemed like a round number for this test. Question was who, no one walking around campus was catching his eye. He was going to search around more when the burning he felt from copying Josh's workout suddenly flared up.
"Whoa, and here I thought Josh was working out hard before." Clearly, Josh's muscles didn't come from nowhere. Er, well at least it didn't according to the notebook. Anyway, the feeling was so strong, Kevin needed to sit down until he could get used to the feeling. Thankfully the campus was full of benches so it was easy to find a place to rest. While he was resting though, a familiar voice called out to him.
"Mr. Sanders, are you feeling alright?" Kevin looked up to where the voice came from to find it belonged to his Math Professor. Professor Dimitri Maxwell was a tall, thin man in his late 50s or early 60s. He was a strict but fair teacher and friendly enough. Hmmm, yes Professor Maxwell would be an excellent subject for his tests. Oh, right, Kevin should probably respond to his professor's question.
"Oh, yeah, I'm fine. Just a bit winded from running around. Busy day. Oh, by the way, professor, I was a bit curious about your past. Have you always been a scholar?" Professor Maxwell was a bit confused at first. After all, what students would want to know more about their old professor? Ah, but then he shrugged and smiled. He was a professor, and he should answer his student's questions.
"Well, I suppose I always had an interest in math ever since I was young. Though I also had an interest in technology too. It moves fast and doesn't it? Does that satisfy your question, Mr. Sanders?"
"Uh, sort of. I was just more so wondering if you were, something like a jock or punk when you were younger." This sentence actually caused the professor to laugh for a bit.
"Haha, no, I was never anything but a scholar. But could you imagine? I guess High School and College would be a bit more fun if I was a jock on top of being a scholar. Ah, but look at the time I must be off. Please remember to study for next week's quiz." The two men said their goodbyes and Professor Maxwell left. As soon as his professor was far away enough, Kevin pulled out the notebook.
Now how was he going to do this? He knew where he wanted Professor Maxwell to end off. Age 25 and buffer than he had ever been before, but how that would happen was going to be a little complicated. The first thing to do was figure out Maxwell's age.
"Let's see if this works." Kevin had written down, "I will know Professor's Dimitri Maxwell age" down in the notebook hoping that would be that easy. Thankfully the words "60 Years Old" appeared right next to the sentence. Right now was the time to figure out how the changes would occur. Hmmm, perhaps he should tie his professor's change to the number of classes he teaches. Yeah, that sounds good, now to do some calculations.
Hmmm, let's see, there were 35 years needed to shave off Maxwell and 21 work days in a typical month. If he assumes the professor teaches 3 classes a day... Yeah, he got it!
Kevin quickly wrote down in his notebook "Professor Dimitri Maxwell will regress 6 months and put on a pound of muscle each time he gives a lecture until he reaches the age of 25." Yeah, that would mean his professors will reach his target age in around 24 days and would gain a whopping 70 lbs of muscle! Kevin estimated his professor was probably around 150 lbs in his current size, and could only imagine what he would look like at 25 years old and 220 lbs of pure muscle.
Well, one thing was for certain, things were going to be interesting for Kevin, Warren, and Maxwell this month.
