While this whole situation was still completely bizarre, Isabelle couldn't say she actually disliked the knowledge that she could apparently sit in plain sight of all these guys and not get any more attention than a passing glance.
So rather than spoil that by trying to talk to one to see how he perceived her now, Isabelle instead decided to see what she now carried in her bag. After pulling it off her back she initially tried placing it on her lap to look through, but quickly found that was not going to work. In order to actually be at the right height to look through it, she had to set it next to her then shift from sitting to kneeling.
Unzipping it first revealed that neatly sitting against the back were several fresh disposable diapers and a small pack of baby wipes, so apparently she was actually expected to be unable to use the restroom. While the entire idea was obviously gross, the fact the diapers were the slip on style at least indicated that she was probably at least expected to change herself.
Next she found her wallet. Well a cheap velcro, bee-themed kids wallet not her normal wallet. Pulling it open revealed that her driver's license was gone which wasn't surprising. Her student ID was still there just obviously with a new picture. And helpfully the laminated medical emergency card her mother insisted she carry with her was still there. According to that her brain cancer developed much earlier and damaged the parts of her brain that regulated growth. At least know she knew how her current body was explained now.
There were only two more things currently in her bag. One was an e-reader tablet in a bulky child proof case. Turning that on showed it mainly appeared to be used for her textbooks. Last was one of those extra sturdy, limited use little kid cell phones.
When she opened that the first thing that popped up was a alert that everything but calling was currently disabled with a message, "Please try to get to bed on time honey - Mom"
She rolled her eyes, her mom probably would have given one of these before if she thought she could justify it, so this probably did count as still being treated like an adult. Glancing through the phone she could see pretty much all the built in apps were learning games. There were also photo and messaging apps along with an internet browser. All of which she was currently locked out of.
The only thing she could really do was look through her list of 'approved contacts'. For the most part it was family, then Harriet, and a few people she had classes with.
