"Oh-my-God!!!!" April was freaking out.
"We are like TOTALLY fat!!!" Bets squealed.
"Ya, no kidding tubby," the lanky teen sitting next to her said annoyed. "Why don't you go on a diet and loose a ton?"
Bets broke into sobs and the lanky kid went off in search of a seat that wasn't next to the good year blimp.
"Ok, ok, we need to all calm down," Chastity said, trying to keep calm. "I think I know what's going on."
"Yeah we've turned into the dancing hippos from Fantasia!" Diane sobbed.
"No, wait," Chastity continued. "THINK about it... remember the guy from the mall?"
"The fat guy?" Bets sniffled, wiping her eyes and smearing loud makeup on her face.
"Yes," Chastity replied. "I know this sounds strange, but what if he's some kind of... I don't know, wizard or something... and we offended him?"
"Wizard?!" Diane blurted out. "That's silly!"
Chastity just looked at Diane quietly for a few seconds. She pointed at her newly obese body. "Explain this then."
"I... I... can't," Diane confessed.
"Whether he's a wizard or not, I think that man is the one behind this. And I think we need to find him and convince him to undo whatever he's done to us."
"Chastity is right." Bets looked at all of her now blimpy friends. "I don't want to spend the rest of my life like this!"
They got off the bus at the next stop, so that they could catch a bus back to the mall. They noticed people all around giving them looks. The guys didn't look at them with welcoming grins the way they used to, now it seems they had become objects of others' amusement. Now they knew what it felt like to be snickered at behind their backs.
But would they be able to find the mysterious fat man? Or would they be stuck in these new obese bodies forever?
