As the golden hues of the setting sun painted the sky, Mary and Juan decided to call it a day. They found a secluded spot for their campsite, surrounded by the sounds of the jungle's nocturnal symphony.
Juan set to work, gathering firewood and creating a makeshift fire pit. He then unfurled a tent he had found in the jeep, hoping it would provide some comfort during the night. As he worked, he couldn't help but steal glances at Mary, who moved with a mesmerizing grace as she prepared to hunt.
With a sense of purpose, Mary utilized her enhanced senses and agility to stalk through the undergrowth. In a display of her newfound abilities, she effortlessly hunted down a small animal, providing them with a simple but satisfying meal for the night.

Mary smiled, touched by his words. "I don't know about being a guardian, but I'm here to do what I can."
