The house rapidly began to grow and expand outwards as the reality warping magic activated, the houses all around it likewise shifting and merging together to join it. Within a second a large mansion stood where a half a dozen houses had been. A large pool emerged in the backyard as gaudy statues of lions and bears materialized in front of the mansion.
Everywhere one looked there were signs of wealth and prestige. Walking inside the mansion would great you with priceless works of art hanging on the walls, more statues and shimmering marble floors. The owner of this mansion clearly had a great deal of money.
Via glanced around for a second. For some reason it seemed like she was seeing the mansion for the first time. But that was silly, of course. After all, she lived here, the pretty Asian woman thought with a giggle. She could be so ditzy sometimes.
A cool wind whistled through the trees outside the mansion and Via shivered. Her skimpy outfit didn’t really do anything to keep her warm. It was still summer, but the coldness of the breeze made it clear summer wasn’t going to be around for much longer. She had better get back inside, now that she was done testing out this weird old camera she’d found in a box in the attic.
She strutted back inside the mansion and glanced around. Everywhere she looked there were pretty women dressed in Playboy Bunny style outfits, just like she was, of course. It wasn’t the worst job in the world; they got paid pretty well to essentially sit around and look pretty, and host parties. Sure, some of the guests could get….overly friendly, but Via had been working here for a while now. She knew when a guest might be trouble, and security was always ready to step in if they had to.
She strolled through the mansion, passing a number of girls getting ready for the party, and finally entered a small side room. A redhead in a green outfit and a blonde in a pink outfit were sitting in front of a TV, watching some reality show.
“It’s just a normal camera.” Via told her friends. “Just super old and stuff. I went outside and took a picture of the house and nothing weird happened.”
Becca giggled. “See? I told you you were just being paranoid, Emma.” She teased. “Oooh, the camera is giving off bad vibes.” The busty redhead added, still trying to contain her laughter.
“Are you sure?” Emma responded. The blonde would have sworn that there was something very….off about the camera. She could almost feel an odd aura coming off it. Emma didn’t think of herself as being gullible, despite Becca’s teasing, but….
“I’m sure.” Via reassured her friend. “Just an ordinary camera. Now cmon, we need to start getting ready for the party tonight.”
