'Okay, Michelle, you can do this, just take a deep breath. You're still teaching a class, they're just animal hybrids. But what teacher hasn't said that students are animals?' Michelle said to herself as she took out her compact mirror and made sure she wasn't sweating.
Michelle was startled for a moment when she saw her reflection as a red panda woman, but looked at herself to see she still looked the same. She figured that it must be what she looked like without the bracelet and the rest of the class saw her as that. 'God, I had to pick sociology to teach in high school.' Michelle thought.
"Okay class, I'm Ms. Wong and welcome to Sociology. Can any of you tell me what sociology boils down to?" Ms. Wong asked as some more of her students were changing into animal hybrids. A boy with glasses and a small beard had become an anthro goat, and a timid looking girl who morphed into an anthro chicken had raised her hand.
"Yes....Emma?" Ms. Wong asked looking up from her seating position.
"Um....it's the study of life, right? People and things that happen in the world, am I correct?" Emma asked nervously. Michelle breathed a sigh of relief, they may look like animals, but they still thought and sounded like teenagers.
"You're correct, Emma. If I may ask, why did you want to take this class?" Ms. Wong asked.
"Well Ms. Wong, my other siblings in my flock are part of the law, and I want to do like them too. Maybe be part of a response team or something like that." Emma said.
"I know how you feel Emma, I took a similar degree. But I digress, now take out your textbooks please and follow along with me." Ms. Wong said as she saw now the rest of her class had finished transforming.

Meanwhile, Nat and Chenoa were headed to Ms. McKinnon's class, when two teenage girls came walking from the opposite direction blocking their way. Nat knew they looked different because of their animal forms, but she still recognized them as Missy and Vicky, a couple of mean girls that Spark had mentioned to Nat and said didn't want to mess with them.
Missy was now an anthro skunk while her friend, Vicky, was an anthro raccoon.
"Well Vicky, look what we have here, the bat brat and her little deer friend." Missy said swaying her tail. Nat and and Chenoa looked confused for a moment, as Chenoa took out a mirror and it showed Nat looking like a bat girl while Chenoa looked more like a deer girl with the top half of her looking like a deer girl's head.
"That spell must have the rest of the school seeing everyone as hybrid animals. Because we're magically protected we still see ourselves as human. Well human enough." Nat whispered to Chenoa.
"I recognize the bat brat, she's a friend of that lioness girl with the green hair." Vicky said, the two of them knew they were referencing Spark from this.
"Oh, is she? Listen bat brat, I've met that pussy of yours and I've got a little warning for you: you off my tail and I don't stink you up. Got it? Bat brat?" Missy asked Nat.
"Don't call me, Bat brat." Nat said sternly. Missy leaned in closely as Vicky and Chenoa backed up seeing the two looking prepared for a fight.
"Bat. Brat." Missy said as Nat grabbed her hair and the two of them started fighting each other. Chenoa looked around for an adult and saw a vulture man walking by and called him over to where Missy and Nat were still going at it, until the Vulture teacher broke it apart.
"Vice Principal? This mean girl started a fight with me for no reason." Missy said trying to act innocent.
"Don't give me that bull...!" Nat began to say before being cut off by the Vice Principal. "Enough! You two are coming to the office with me. Thank you, young lady. Do you have a hall pass?" The vice principal asked Chenoa as she showed her the hall pass Ms. Wong had given her.
"Alright, and you, do you have one?" The vice principal asked Vicky as she showed him her hall pass. "Good, now you two get to where you're going." The vice principal said.
"Get to Ms. McKinnon." Nat whispered to Chenoa as she was taken to the front office along with Missy.
"This isn't over, fawn bitch." Vicky said quietly out of ear shot of the vice principal. Chenoa saw a P.E. class nearby and the coach was now a swan teacher.
It was now up to Chenoa to see Ms. McKinnon, though a small part of her did like being among other animal hybrids.
