For Pyrona and Ignis, the proud new parents, albeit adoptive, of two gorgeous baby dragon girls, everything was just perfect. Pyrona had performed a perfect spell. The dragon with a muddled mind, calling herself Karltin (what a preposterous name!) had been regressed to an egg. Pyrona had taken care in erasing her memories of her previous life to free from her confusion. And clearly the spell had functioned outstandingly. The two wonderful babies were acting no differently than two normal hatchlings. The spell had erased all of Pyrite's silly thoughts. And they had named the other baby Rose, due to her light pinkish color. She was a normal baby dragon too. But of course, both dragons, though elated, could not know what had really happened.
Far from being crazy, Karltin had shouted out the truth. In the egg, he had felt himself forgetting who he'd been. Adult. Human. Male. He had gone into a deep, deep sleep as his memory was drifting off at the same time as his consciousness. Soon though he couldn't remember what he should remember. His mind regressed, filling in further with new dragon instincts. As for Prince Jasper, the occupiers of the other egg, he had been touched by the spell too. If Pyrona thought it without consequences, he had lost all his own memories as a human prince, also an dult and male. The two were now two perfect hatchlings about to make the pride and joy of their new parents. They would acquire through their magic the attributes of noble dragons and and live new lives, quite certainly unaware at all of who they'd been before. Ignis and Pyrona were very attentive parents after all.
