Before Jeff is able to decide, his phone rings, causing the 16 year-old to jump, scared by the sudden ring of his phone, „god damn it,” he breaths, grabbing his phone to see who had the great idea to call and scare him. Looking down at his phone, Jeff sees that the caller is his friend “Todd”, “what the hell does he want,” Jeff asks himself, scowling, before answering the call, “Todd? What the hell? You scared the shit out of me!”
“Jeff,” Todd says on the other side, “where the hell are you? We are waiting for you for the last hour!”
“Hu? What are you talking about?”
“Dude,” Todd replies, “don’t tell me you have forgotten!”
“Forgotten… what,” Jeff asks.
Todd groans, “we wanted to explore the abandoned mansion on the hill just outside of town,” he says, “since you are the only one with a driver’s license, you promised to pick us, meaning myself, Zack, Mike and Dean, up!”
Jeff’s eyes widen when he suddenly remembers, “oh shit! That was today?!”
“Um… yeah,” Todd says.
“So sorry mate,” Jeff says, “I completely forgot about it!”
“Well, we thought so,” Todd grumbles, “so, you still want to do this or what?”
“I’ll be right over,” Jeff says.
“Hurry, we really don’t want to arrive at the mansion when it is starting to get dark,” Todd says, then hangs up the call.
Jeff stares down at his phone, “darn it! How could I forget,” he asks himself, he then looks at the screen of his Laptop and the running program, “I really wanted to try this thing out, but I guess it has to wait!”
The teen clicks on the “x” to exit the program, when he does a message pops up, “thanks for installing the Chronivac, please consider downloading and installing the App-Version. See you next time!”
Jeff’s eyes widen as the window disappears, “there is an App-Version,” he asks in disbelief, he opens the App-store and types “The Chronivac” into the search bar, sure enough he finds the App. At first, Jeff is surprised, then he grins, “looks like I can kill to flies with a stone,” he says, “I can still test the program out and still have fun with my pals!”
After a few minutes, Jeff hurries out of the house, grinning as he gets into his car, he starts the engine and drives off to Todd’s to pick up his friends, now owning a portable Chronivac, “I won’t tell my friends what I have, not until I tried it out first,” he says to himself as he arrives at Todd’s place, honking to let the guys know that he has arrived and soon they all are on their way to the mansion.
