With the first full week of September, everyone in Animalia and its colonies began getting ready for the fall season. While some would think that this was an unusual time to begin preparing, others would argue that the earlier you can prepare things, the better your chances of getting the good stuff. However, there were still things going on that were not directly tied to the fall season.

One indirect result of fall was the Brown farm was becoming a kind of new hangout spot, no doubt due to the new farm hands. While it was no secret that the girls from the Seven-on-Four night had fully paid off their debts, some of them had remained where they were for one reason or another. Case in point was Sylvia, who had remained on the Brown farm after her share of the debt was paid off, no doubt due to the new farmhands.
Said farmhands didn't mind that Sylvia had remained, since she remembered to take her birth control on a regular basis and didn't mind helping them with "stress relief". Unfortunately, there were plenty of high school to college age girls hanging out by the fences and catcalling them, which was kind of distracting. Fortunately, after the incident during the IAC, they kept off the property and didn't interfere with their work.

Another indirect thing was the number of COOs, CEOs, and similarly ranked people coming to Animalia for conversion. While Forbes might have exaggerated some of the benefits (based off of Joanne's personal experience), what couldn't be exaggerated was that, by this time, 2/3rds of Joanne's workers had also converted to follow her example and were doing extremely well both physically and mentally, though any 'financial' benefits were still unknown.
Because of this, others at roughly the same level of Joanne were coming to Animalia, mainly from companies (or at least branches of certain companies) that catered specifically to Animalia and its colonies. While most of the reasons why such people were undergoing conversions weren't shared (due to doctor-client confidentiality rules), it was generally agreed upon that they were doing it to deal with workplace stress-related issues.
---
Another thing that was going on was the number of divorcees that were coming to Animalia. Partly this was because of Phillip's story, which was becoming kind of an inspiration to men, especially, who were divorcees. While Doctor Jones' clinic couldn't share much, there were at least two common themes among them: they were either cheated on, dumped, and divorced, or discovered that their 'significant other' was completely toxic.
While the upswing of divorced men was provoking fury from both feminists and the "woke", their protests just seemed to show just how prejudiced/hypocritical they really were, especially since there definitely were divorced women among the men.

While it would still be a while before holidays like Halloween and Thanksgiving, Fall was already shaping up to be quite entertaining in various ways.
