“Rick…” Emily muttered. She was on the verge of tears. “I’m glad you told me this. I’ve been feeling the same way too.”
Ashley was taken aback by Emily’s reply. “Huh?”
“I mean, I’ve been thinking about us a lot too. This week has made me the happiest I’ve been in a long while and it’s made me question what our relationship looks like. Just observing you, you seemed to fit seamlessly into the role of my twin sister, even better than as a boyfriend. You’re way more bubbly and happy. You’ve been acting really feminine, wearing skirts and makeup. Heck, you even kissed that guy last night.”
Ashley sheepishly looked away. “...You saw that, huh?”
Emily giggled. “Don’t think I didn’t catch you leading him to the bathroom. But you enjoyed him, right?”
Ashley blushed a deep red confirming Emily’s suspicions, before the former asked “Wait, you kissed your guy as well! What was that about?”
“Like I said, I already had my suspicions about our relationship, so I decided to cut loose and enjoy myself. Too bad I couldn’t, he wasn’t very “big” down there.”
The two girls shared a giggle, breaking the melancholy feeling, before Ashley spoke up again. “So, you’re not mad that I won’t be your boyfriend anymore? I mean, technically we’re breaking up.”
“Why would I be mad? I’m gaining, or keeping I guess, a twin sister and I could not be any happier. So Ashley, I accept you as my sister."
Ashley began to cry tears of joy as the two women embraced each other in a hug, beginning their relationship anew. Gone were Rick & Emily, boyfriend & girlfriend. Instead, there was Ashley & Emily, twin sisters who supported each other through everything. While the Camera of Change usually brought chaos and distraught wherever it went, today it created a new life filled with love and happiness for its two victims.
“Oh, this is the happiest day of my life!” Ashley exclaimed. “There’s so much I wanna do now that I’m finally a girl! I wanna go back to that spa centre, it was so nice when we went last week! I really wanna do a double date together, too! Maybe ask those guys from last night for one? Or maybe I should try dating another woman first? Ooh! I really want to go out with your Mom again, wait, she’s my Mom now too. You can come along too Em! Have an all-girls day at-”
“How about we just keep things simple for today?” Emily interjected, calming Ashley down. “Let’s go get dressed up and show the world the new you, sis!”
Ashley beamed hearing Emily call her her sister. “I’d love that, sis.”
So the twin girls left the house to enjoy the day, leaving the camera behind in Ashley’s room. But the camera would not lay dormant forever. At some point in the future, somebody will pick it up and use its magical capabilities. And with Ashley and Emily able to now control it, the possibilities were endless.
