Check how tall I am. I walk towards the closet and open the door. Installed on the back side of the door there is a measuring tape with several green marks in it. My dad placed it here when I was eight and I have been using this tape to check my height ever since.
Since I haven't been using it too much lately and it is a bit childish, I was thinking about removing it, but I am glad I didn’t. Since I used green marks to record the growth of my last body, I will use purple this time.
Putting my back straight to the door, I make a mark just above my head on the measuring tape aaaand… 139cm
“Wow, that’s a big difference” I mutter to myself
“I have heard of people losing a lot of weight but losing a lot of height is new to me” I snicker a little, “and talking about weight…”
I looked inside the closet for the electronic scale and after I found it, I checked my weight.
“30Kg” I said surprised
No wonder I have been feeling like a feather, my old body could probably hold my new girl body with just one arm.
I contemplate a little and mutter, “Since I am already checking my body I might test my fitness as well”
In my laptop, I search for a training routine for kids that I can do at home and start following it. It surprises me that many of the exercises that I thought were easy, were actually pretty challenging, but what amazed me the most in a good way was my flexibility. I could not split my legs all the way but I was almost there; this was a degree of flexibility that I never felt as a boy and was now tempted to try to develop.
I started to do bodybuilder poses in front of the mirror, but as funny as it is to see a scrawny girl doing bodybuilder poses, I was feeling a bit down because I could not see any bulging muscles in my body. My old body was definitely not an athlete, but it was reasonably fit, and after a workout I could see the muscles of my arms bulge when I struck some poses.
After a moment of standing in front of the mirror, I decided to smell under my armpit as well
After living for so long with my old body I had a good understanding of how my body smells, so I can say that my new body smells different, but if I try to describe the differences, it would be difficult. The only thing I can easily say is that it is less stinky, but that is probably because this body has not undergone puberty yet.
Having finished my body inspection, I ruminate in my bed. I decided in the morning to put an effort into reviewing school material to not forget what I previously knew, but should I start training my body as well?
