The next day at work, Kristoff walked up to Dani after she finished helping a customer.
“Hi, Dani,” he said. Dani, still in a good mood after yesterday at the park, smiled at him.
“Hello.”
“I’ve heard that you keep having accidents in your diaper?” Kristoff asked. Dani nodded. “Okay. Here’s the thing. We can’t have you working the floor anymore.” Dani’s stomach dropped to her feet.
“Am I being fired?” she whimpered.
“No!” Kristoff said quickly. “No, you aren’t. You’re just being reassigned.”
“Okay.” Dani sniffed loudly; she had already begun to cry before Kristoff reassured her she wasn’t being fired. She rubbed her face, wiping away the few tears that had snuck out. “Where?”
“The daycare.”
“And what am I gonna do there?”
“You’re going to continue being a product tester,” Kristoff said. Dani frowned at him. “Our store brand has been getting some negative reviews lately. In particular, our items that have to do with toddlers. So, in the daycare, you’ll be given only our store brand products, and you can give us your honest opinion. We’ll report back to Corporate, and our product can become so good that customers prefer it over the fancy name brand!”
“O-okay,” Dani sniffed. She let out a small fart. Her knees bent into an instinctive squat. In front of her boss, she began to push, grunting as she emptied her bowels into her diaper. Given that she had her boss as an audience, it felt like it took hours, but eventually, she finished. She straightened with a sigh of relief, her diaper now sagging under her.
“What a perfect opportunity to get you to the daycare and changed into some store brand diapers,” Kristoff said. He took Dani’s hand and led her to the daycare.
