September 22nd is often associated with the official end of summer. Because of that, a number of things were starting up, both in Animalia and its colonies.

The start of fall was also the start of "migration season", where bird Animalians at least began "pre-booking" their Migratory Packages to their winter homes, usually in Vilcabamba or Mieni Atoll. "Dario" was one of the most conspicuous at the office, mainly because of his interview on Animalia Ambassadoria.
However, it wasn't just bird Animalians booking Migratory Packages, and it wasn't just warmer places that were getting booked. This year, a good portion of the bookings were to Heiya Island and its new "sister colony", Ryouiki Island. There was now official ferry transport between the two island so, while some were moving there to stay, others were able to travel from Heiya Island to Ryouiki Island, or vice versa, for a few days.

Another thing that was starting up was Animalia's 'Harvest Season'. While the Brown farm was the main focus for this, other, smaller, "sub-farms" had begun developing around their fields. While it was still technically their land, the Brown family were more than happy to share it with the newer farms, especially since this allowed them some more free time for other things.
Of course, with the upcoming Spookyville, Harvest Games, and Animalia Thanksgiving exposition, not everything was harvested. Of course, one of the biggest things that was happening on the property was the growing corn maze for the Harvest games.
---
Another thing that was happening was the number of Animalia cooking programs that were showing up on the Animalia website, though the more risqué ones (with female Animalians wearing only a frilly apron and nothing else) were locked securely behind the Premium section of the site. As usual, this sparked a number of complaints and "that's not fair" comments, but these just proved how underage they were, sometimes in hilarious ways.
---
As one of the more annoying things going on, stores had begun selling holiday paraphernalia, much to the annoyance of some people, while others focused more on the 'the earlier the better' mindset. But in some cases, the things being sold just didn't make any sense, like it didn't make sense to sell Christmas stuff during September.
---
Of course, some of the more fun things were those that weren't formally organized. In Lyre/Animalia, for example, an area was roped off for people and Animalians to dump their leaves into. While this wasn't really used yet, it did promise a lot of fun once it was.
