For modern humans’ mythical creatures are relegated to the realm of book, stage, movies and TV shows. They are just myths and legends which don’t have any real relation on their lives.
What none of them knew was that every mythical creature which the ancient humans placed into their legends and lore was once actually real. They were killed off by the humans of the time and became legends.
What the ancient legends didn’t know was that every mythical creature, be it a merpeople, centaurs, fairies or others all come from a group of goddesses which when awoken go about transforming humans into the mythical creatures they rule over in kingdoms they rule over.
While the races they rule may be gone from the world, the goddess are still very much around but currently sleeping but that has changed.
Now the goddess are waking up around the world and they will start to rebuild their races using the humans to become their new subjects.
Whoever they would decide to transform their changes would be at the mercy of the goddess, everything from age, to gender and everything else can be transformed by the goddess.
A goddess is about to transform a human and start the rebuilding of their race/kingdom.
