It is 11:59 pm, just one minute until midnight, and the pumpkin patch and the night look pleasant for the upcoming spooky season. The pumpkins are ripe and ready to be carved into a jack-o-lantern by a human. The moon shines as bright as a star, with some clouds lingering around it. Behind the patch is a grim, eerie forest with someone handsome riding a black horse inside, except that someone is not a human. He is a dullahan. As September comes to a close, the headless hunk takes off his head, steps out of his horse, and announces while greeting,
“Hello, Mr. Spooky Night.”

Just as the clock chimes these sounds, dark green vines burst out in front of the pumpkin patch. Once they nearly hit seven feet, the vines adjoin, and a black banner magically reveals itself to form a sign that says, “Monster Manliness.” All the pumpkins roll over to the left or right as an invisible group of ghosts crafts a rough, rocky sidewalk. A white cloth pulls up a ticket stand in front of the pumpkins on the right but behind the entrance. The sidewalk goes into the woods, and when it finally meets its stopping point, a massive haunted house has already been constructed.
Subsequently, the ghosts build different places, and whereas some buildings will be on the left, others will be on the right. First, they set up a restaurant while hiring various mythological monsters to feed their future customers. Second, the ghosts establish a restroom, with one part being for men and the other for women. Third, they create a shop so that visitors will purchase any merchandise, ranging from candy bags to Halloween costumes. Lastly, the ghosts construct a racecourse where horse races and a chariot can take place.
“Go on and fill up a spot,” the dullahan orders to his horse, Shadow.
Thus, the dark stallion trots into the racing track with another dashing horse and a couple of male centaurs. The dullahan gloats with satisfaction, the mere thought of seeing the victims’ transformations consuming his mind.
“Perfect,” he comments. “At this rate, this season will be good to go before I know it. The only two things the little ghosts will have to take care of are the wendigo cave and the theater. Just like every year, whoever comes to this festival, whether they’re male or female, will be transformed into a manly monster like me, Damien the Dullahan! I’m not just referring to vampires like Count Alvin or werewolves like Liam here! I’m talking about any kind of manly monster you can ever imagine! Of course, the ladies will have to go through a good old-fashioned gender change, but the changes will be as creative as they can get! And I already can’t wait to get this show on the road!”
