Within the last few months, the federal government had developed a new agency to handle the supernatural. They had named it, the Strategic Paranormal Enforcement and Rescue or S.P.E.A.R for short. It's run by Sarah McMillan, the director and head of operations, Director McMillan's main advisor is Jacob Moreland, who came from a long line of Demon Hunters, but retired from the job after his right arm was ripped off by vampires. He acts as the agencies paranormal expert and within that time, they've also recruited three people who are part of the supernatural world. Henry Mitchell and Anna Rosario had become werewolves earlier in the year, and Jacob had recognized them from their profiles, while the third supernatural recruit was Hailey Meyers had been a college age student who only a few months ago was bitten was bitten by a vampire along with her mother and had become one as well. Unlike many vampires, save a few, Hailey maintained her humanity, didn't want to hurt anyone intentionally, and though she didn't like it, she had to drink blood to survive, thankfully thanks to Marisa McGregor, she had found out about the blood bank and that had satisfied her thirst. She was also the youngest recruit so far of S.P.E.A.R.
Hailey was now sitting in the briefing room with Agents Mitchell and Rosario along with Cole Harris, who was a soldier who had been recruited to S.P.E.A.R. Although he was an average human, over the last several years, he had plenty experiences with the paranormal.
Director McMillan entered the briefing room and dimmed the lights for a slide show ready to start the briefing.
"Alright, ladies, gentleman, and everyone part of the supernatural. First, welcome our newest Agent to the team, Agent Meyers." Director McMillan said as Agent Harris patted her on the back.
"Yes, we're all very happy for her. Now, for what we all came here for. Almost a month ago, one school was nearly turned into an anthropomorphic zoo." Director McMillan explained as Agent Harris raised his hand.
"Ugh, it means walking and talking like a person, except the students looked like animals, does that answer your obvious question, Agent Harris?" Director McMillan sighed.
"Yeah, sorry, I just never heard of the word before."
"Well, I'm sure in the last ten years or so, you've heard of something online called 'furries', think of it like that. Anyway, the entire situation was caused by a deer girl named 'Chenoa'. Now I have it from a few sources that this deer girl, had good intentions, but just used her uncontrolled magic a little too much without realizing it and she was able to reverse it. Or at least, she thought she did." Director McMillan explained.
"Wait, but if she wasn't the one to reverse it, then who was?" Agent Meyers asked.
"THAT's the question I wanted to hear. Our sources don't have a suspect, but this was only a month or so ago, so I want you to go to that school and investigate to who might have been the one to reverse it." Director McMillan said showing a picture of the school.
"Please, don't tell me I have to infiltrate a high school or go undercover like that." Agent Meyers groaned.
"Hell no, you're a little too old for high school Meyers. No, you, and Agent Mitchell will look through the security cameras to see if you can see if anyone was on the outside that day. Rosario, Harris, you two will investigate the outside to see if you can find anything our mysterious suspect left behind." Director McMillan explained to her team.
"Got that? Good, now get a move on, I've got to get a ton of other things done today." Director McMillan said as her team went onto their investigation.
