Jeff groans, unable to decide what to try out first, he stares at his 3D-self, which he created by scanning himself, his stats and all the transformation options. “Why is it so hard to decide,” the 16 year-old whines, the teen lets out a sigh, “maybe if I go for a walk, maybe that will help me decide, once I cleared my mind,” so Jeff sends his Laptop into standby and heads out the house.
While Jeff is gone, Zack, Jeff’s 12 year-old brother, sneaks into his room, which the young boy regularly does, to see if his big brother might have something new, like a videogame or DVD, or something else that is cool.
Zack, like Jeff, is an athletic boy with short smooth black hair, which he has styled in an undercut, with a lightning bolt on the right side. The 12 year-old looks around Jeff’s room, he then notices that Jeff’s Laptop is in standby, a smile appears on his face, ‘Jeff won’t be back for at least two hours,’ he thinks to himself, knowing that Jeff likes to take his time on walks, ‘he might have a new awesome game that I can try out.’
The young boy hops onto Jeff’s seat and awakens the Laptop, shaking his head and giggling, “Jeff really should think about password protecting his Laptop,” he says to himself as the screen jumps to life, revealing the desktop. Zack looks at all the Apps on the desktop and the bar at the bottom of the screen, he notices an App with a big “C” on the bottom bar, “that looks like a game logo,” he says, when he clicks on it a window opens up and Zack is greeted by the 3D image of his brother, “hu? That 3D character looks exactly like Jeff,” he says to himself, “is it some kind of program where you can create your own characters and design your own game?”
Zack’s curiosity awakens and he decides to read the manual, “greetings, and welcome to the Chronivac, a game like no other,” he reads out loud, “uuuuuh… this game allows you to experience all kinds of amazing things: ever wondered what it would be like being an animal? You are a male, and curious what it might feel like being a female? Maybe you would like to experience something more exotic? Well, then why not become a Dragon or some other “fairytale” being? All you need to do is scan yourself and the fun can begin!”
After reading the manual, Zack’s curiosity has increased, the 12 year-old feels all giddy and excited, “I GOT to try this game out! I don’t want Jeff to find out that I have been in his room and on his Laptop,” he says to himself, “I know! I’ll copy the game onto my iPad! That way, Jeff will never know,” he then runs into his room and grabs his iPad.
When Zack returns, he attaches his iPad to Jeff’s Laptop and copies the “game” over, it doesn’t take long and soon Zack has an exact copy of the “game”, including Jeff’s file, on his iPad. Zack detaches the iPad from the Laptop and sends the Laptop back into standby, he then hurries into his room, closing the door behind him.
Zack jumps onto his bed and opens the “game”, “I think I’ll scan myself,” he says, “I really don’t want to play the game as “Jeff”,” when Zack activates the scanner, he is asked to move away from the camera until his whole body is seen on the screen, which Zack does.
After the scan is complete, Zack grabs his iPad and his eyes widen when he sees his stats and his 3D-self, “whoa, kinda creepy,” he says to himself as he reads through his stats, “how the hell is it possible that a game is able to know everything… I mean EVERYTHING… about me? It even knows my darkest desires,” he mumbles, blushing a little.
Zack shrugs and grins, “this is already such an awesome game and I haven’t even started to create a actual game,” he says to himself, “it might be creepy, but it really seems to be a freaking awesome game! I can’t wait to try it out, let’s see what I can do,” with that the boy starts to go through the various types of transformations.
After a while reading through all the transformation options, Zack’s head is steaming, “holy hell,” he says, “it sure has thousands of amazing stuff to try! I can become an animal, I can even choose to be a feral animal or an anthro! I always loved Dragons, Squirrels, Kangaroos, Tigers, Dogs, Foxes,…! I can even become an object, like a vehicle, toy… even food! This is such a weird, creepy and AWESOME game!”
Zack then spots something that sparks his curiosity, “unbirth,” he asks himself, he clicks on the question mark and it tells him the following, “return to the womb and experience to be born again. WARNING: choosing this option comes with the risk that you might not be reborn as yourself! You might be born as the opposite gender… or even an animal!”
Reading the description causes Zack to snort, he then laughs, “hehe… it’ll be interesting to see what happens when my 3D-self is unbirthed by an animal! Hm… or maybe he’ll be unbirthed by some Asian woman? I’m kinda curious to see what I’d look like as a different race,” he says to himself, “hm… should I try that? Or should I try something more… subtle first? Maybe see what I’d look like as a Squirrel-boy?”
