"Alright, alright, Mr Wizard." Scott said with his hands up. "How about you get the pizza and I try out a different costume?"
"Really?" John said, looking at Scott.
"Well, can't have you have all the fun with the magic costumes."
"I say stay away from the really dangerous ones then, like the tiger costume, and the werewolf costume. And maybe the ones that needs a second person to put on." John said as he got up to get his wallet.
"Of course." Scott said as he headed to the door, only to stop. "Uh, there's no cursed costumes going on right? Like none of them would come to life and force themselves on me or whisper in my mind to put them on or something?"
"Hmm, I would say no. The magic only happens when they're put on, but given how long they were abandoned, I'm not certain they would stay around. It has been a decade after all. Horror movie logic suggest either they're content in waiting or going to force themselves on some unsuspecting victim."
"Maybe I should bring a broom in case one decides to goop itself on me?" Scott chuckled at the joke. John simply rolled his eyes.
"I'm certain they won't do anything like that. They're good costumes, after all I-" he stopped himself. "I mean, my uncle made them, I think."
"Well, hopefully I could surprise you with the costume I'll pick before you come back with the pizza then."
"Sure, sure. Your usual right? Might go with two pizzas, in case the one you pick happens to have a bigger appetite." John joked before he headed out.
Scott then headed to the collection of costumes, wondering what to put on next.
