Chenoa was nervous about the party, mostly because of her costume; she was talked into wearing a sexy bunny costume, complete with big floppy ears and a cute bunny tail, Stephanie had told her that it would be cute and show off her pretty human legs. The black haired girl wanted to go as a deer so she wouldn’t have to hide her true appearance but Miranda had insisted, saying “you can show your true form anytime, Halloween is the one night a year girls get to dress up in sexy costumes outside the bedroom.” Chenoa blushed just thinking about it.
Miles appeared to like her costume, complimenting her on her cute choice, Stephanie covertly gave the girl a thumbs up when he did so. Chenoa was just glad that they could spend some time with all their friends and have fun.
Miles wore a hotdog suit, Chenoa couldn’t help but laugh at his ridiculous choice in costume, he laughed as well and wrapped his arm around his girlfriend.
“You should have gone as a carrot, that way she could nibble on you later!” Stephanie teased as she approached with her date hand in hand.
The deer girl blushed at the statement and decided to quickly change the subject.
“Who was that girl you were with earlier?”
“Nobody, just some crazy girl.” The nurse responded.
“Well… why don’t we go to the dance floor then.” Chenoa said nervously.

Diana took note of the angel leaving with a crocodile boy, unsure of their identities. She decided to simply take note of the two strangers and return to her main objective; Darren and his friends were reunited and moved to the dance floor.
The brunette couldn’t get closer without a dance partner so simply lingered on the outskirts. As she watched the couples dance her head started pounding, another episode accompanied another buried memory:
It must of been before she was taken to the academy, she was at some rock concert, she was dancing with another girl, she couldn’t make out the mysterious girl’s features but her heart ached when she saw this figure. She remembered embracing and that’s when she was brought back to the present. The memory faded but it was no longer buried in her subconscious, Diana didn’t know what these flashes of memories were. This free spirited girl who shared her face. Diana thought about reporting these incidents but something deep down stopped her, a lingering sense of rebellion that she thought was erased by her conditioning.
These thoughts were pushed away when she received a message from Rick. Instead of replying promptly like she normally would this time she decided to ignore it and continued to observe the group of friends.

Chenoa had a hard time dancing with her boyfriend, his hotdog costume made putting her hands on his shoulders difficult. However her tight one piece gave no such obstructions for him to put his hands on her waist. The native girl looked lovingly into the eyes of the boy she danced with and he would smile that infectious smile of his. She was so lost in the moment that she’d unconsciously let her antlers reveal themselves.
Stephanie, who was dancing with Travis lightly kicked the deer girl and motioned to her head.
Chenoa quickly pulled herself together and retracted her antlers with a blush.
“Don’t worry, I doubt anyone noticed. Just keep those gorgeous eyes if yours on me.” He said softly.
Her heart fluttered and she momentarily lost her footing. Her boyfriend caught her and when he pulled her up she ended up pulled close to his chest. They looked into each others eyes and kissed passionately.
“Let’s go somewhere more private.” Miles said and began to lead her away from the dance floor.
“…s-sure…” was all Chenoa could softly reaping as she allowed him to lead her away.
She couldn’t see but Stephanie took notice and was happy for her friend.
Travis saw this and squeezed his girlfriend,
“What are you so happy about?” He asked coyly.
The black haired girl turned back to her date and smiled,
“Oh nothing, just another day’s work.” She answered and kissed the blonde.
Diana took note of the two’s departure but kept her eyes on the dance floor, she was distracted and had not noticed that she had received another message.
