Changes: No hair anywhere on body except head, voice higher pitch, hand changes, beginning of hormone and memory changes, figure and hair on head changes to match Tyldie's.
Ty picked up one of the two remaining golden apples, and began to eat.
"Are you sure we need to do this?" Tyldie asked Belle, as they entered the orchard "We could move to the other side of the world. Live a life y that he can't touch."
"We can't," said Belle "As long as we continue to live in this time, he will continue hunting us. If he finds out where our families are hiding, he'll come for them, too. You know it's only a matter of time."
Tyldie bit her lip, but nodded. "But how do we know our descendants will find this tree we're going to bind ourselves to? We're gambling everything on this strange ritual you've found."
"It's not as much of a gamble," Belle said "Fate has a way of making things go the way they should."
"I didn't know you worshipped Fate," Tyldie said "We're supposed to put our trust in an entity that also put us in the situations we've found ourselves in in the first place?"
"We don't really have any other options," Belle pointed out "We've tried everything else. The Lich will keep hunting us, probably even after we come back in the future. If we're lucky, some other adventurer will have slain him by then. If not, we know where his phylactery is stored."
Tyldie nods "I'll follow your lead, as ever, my love."
Belle pulled Tyldie into a kiss, which they held for several moments.
"Now, let's get this done."
Belle led Tyldie to a tree in the centre of the orchard, and directed her to stand on the other side of the tree. She took both of Tyldie's hands, joining the two around the tree, then began a ritual chant. Tyldie joined in, and the two began to slowly glow with golden light. The light seeped into the tree as it became brighter and brighter, until both women could no longer be seen. Then, the light entered the tree. It's leaves and the fruit growing upon it turned a bright gold, and it grew several ft. Time seemed to pass at an accelerated rate, until a half elven sailor came and plucked four apples from the tree.
Ty snapped out of the memory, feeling a weight on his chest. Belle was staring at him from her position in the water.
"I didn't realize it before," said Belle "But with your changes, you remind me of someone I don't remember. Why can't I remember?"
"I think I know," said Ty, as he sat up. He felt a weight on his chest, and looked down to see two breasts straining against his tunic. He could also no longer feel his penis between his legs. he had fully become Tyldie, in body if not in mind "The two of us, we used to be someone else. Two women who turned themselves into energy and infused an apple tree on this island in order to hide from a great evil. The apples would morph their descendants into copies of them, and give them their memories."
"What you've just said sounds insane," said Belle "How could any of that be real?"
"I can't really explain it," Ty said, sitting up and getting used to the weight on her chest "I think you should try eating one of the apples, that might give you a better explanation than anything I say."
Belle responds:
