As Hailey and Greg made their way towards the resort, they found themselves forced into cover far more often they they wished. The island was swarming with these things, the two agents taking cover as they passed. Their supplies were limited and considering Haileys previous injuries they didn't want to chance a firefight. "How much further," Hailey asked.
Henry turned, raising an eyebrow at the 22 year old vampire. "I don't know I thought you knew," he whispered. "Don't you have a map?" Hailey balked, gesturing to her attire (or lack there of). "And where would I put it," she hissed. "I lost most of my stuff in the crash!"
"Crap same," Henry sighed. Both agents now taking a moment to assess their situation. The crash had destroyed most of their equipment, drastically reduced the amount of ammo they, and left Hailey barefoot and in tattered clothes that looked more like a bathsuit. Unless they could resupply and get an idea of the area, they were essentially going in blind.
"So what are we talking about?"
Hailey and Henry jumped, the two agents turning as they centered their weapons on the voice behind them. "Geshp," Hailey asked, staring in bewilderment at the devil under S.P.E.A.Rs employ. "What are you doing here?"
"Providing backup of course," he stated, his voice silken in tone. Geshp eyes now traveled up and down Haileys body, the young vampire blushing furiously at being seen in such a state by the smooth talking devil. "Why Agent Meyers this is quite a look for you. You should consider this far more often."
"Hey focus," Henry grumbled, the man now standing in front of Hailey obscuring Geshp's view. "You said you came to back us up. How did you get here?"
"Oh that," Geshp replied. "Yes of course business first. You see when we lost contact with your transport Director McMillan became concerned. You've been out of contact for over 24 hours Agent Mitchell. We pieced together your last location and realized that whatever happened most likely would inhibit a rescue by conventional means."
"So they sent you," Henry replied. Geshp now bowed, reaching into a bag before producing a blood pack. "Why send in a jobber when you have a main eventer," he smiled. "And considering that if you two survived you would injured I came prepared. Can't have the lovely Agent Meyers running around with bloodlust." Haily now took the blood, grumbling a thank you as she began to drink.
As Geshp now began to offer supplies to his fellow agents, he now began to show the map of the island S.P.E.A.R had. The satellite image they had now offered a detailed view of the island, allowing the three of them to view the various structures around the island. "According to the most recent data this is probably the main HQ of whoever is corrupting the island," Henry stated, pointing towards the main building. "If we move northwest we should be able to hit this building, which appears to be a security station."
"All good in theory," Hailey said. "But we still aren't sure who the guy is that started all this. Not to mention the hordes of undead vacationers wandering around looking to take a bite out of us."
"All good points Agent Meyers," Geshp replied on his silken tone. "This necromancer is quite potent. He won't be easy to stop. The hordes though? I think I can handle them, if you don't mind." Hailey and Henry said nothing, watching as Geshp now stepped from their hiding spot. As soon as he did, he now called out to the group of zombies who had just passed, the horde turning on a dine as they began to shamble towards the well dressed devil.
Geshp smirked, rolling up the sleeves of his buttoned up shirt. Hailey watched the devil with interest, watching as his eyes became inky pools of darkness as a small set of horns protruded from his forehead. With a simple flick of his wrist the two agents watched as a pillar of flames engulfed the horde, reducing them to ash in seconds. Smiling, Geshp now bowed theatrically. Hailey and Henry simply rolling their eyes as they began the trek towards the security station.
