Chris and John were frightened. And they had good reasons to be. Their friend Damon had tried to escape and having failed, he had been changed into a pig! Worse, a sow, and he had been made to live with a hog who, not caring what his new roommate had been, was more than happy to make use of Damon's new porcine vagina, and never mind if she got pregnant. The hog's sexual desires were just too great and impossible to resist. These urges were even more compelling as this hog had once been a man and his new pig instincts gave him even less morals than he had as a human being. Already as a human he had been a real pig, thinking of only food and sex, and making him a hog had only worsened his two basic drives in life. Chris and John did not know that but Damon's fate was properly terrifying and they were horrified at the idea of finishing in the same way. It was also testimony to the witch's great powers. What if her friends - those intent on purchasing them - could do worse? What if they wanted to transform them into worst and more ridiculous creatures? What if they wanted former humans to have fun with, humiliate or just torture and experiment with? They could just stay huddled in their little jar, dreading who would come to buy them. Because now it was clear they were the ones to be on sale.
Chris, it turned out, was bought first. A knock at the door and the witch invited in a tall wan with a short beard, with eyes like sparks of fire and long hair tied behind his neck. He had a tall hat and a long cloak, all decorated in black and red. He looked like an evil wizard and he certainly acted as such. The witch offered him coffee and he stayed civil if stern-looking, darting severe glances at the two jars and their occupants. After sharing news and drinking their coffee, both approached the table, the warlock looking with a frown at the two frogs, both of whom huddled even tighter and pretending to be invisible. Then the warlock picked up Chris' jar.
"I'll take this one," he simply said.
The witch nodded and both practitioners of magic haggled a little before agreeing on a price. The warlock handed out the three gold coins and placed his purchase in his bag.
"Those thieves never suspected THEY would be the ones to earn me money!" laughed the witch, making the warlock smile.
He then left, leaving John to wait for his own buyer, wondering to what Chris was going off to.
