Let's say that Naomi was an interesting individual. She was interested in a lot of things, from animals and dinosaurs to sci-fi and fantasy. She was known for being open minded, and there were several cases when she believed that made up old lady stories were real.
But the poor girl had little to no friends. Even if she tried to make some, they will start thinking she is a weirdo and eventually leave her. The only one she had, because her parents rarely came home, was her pet dalmatian Umber, which she named like that because he had brown spots instead of usual black ones. Naomi loved Umber, and that feeling between them was mutual. However, the thing about Umber is that he had an unusually high intelligence, and only Naomi was aware of it. He was also more focused than his quirky owner, and went for more practical solutions when he was in a trouble, big or small. But that wasn't obstacle in their positive relationship.
It was another normal day at Naomi's house, with girl and the dog being alone. Naomi, as usual, watched her favorite sci-fi show about killer robots and Umber was resting next to her, when she heard the doorbell.
"I'll go and check who is it, you can stay here", said the eccentric girl as she went to the door. On the entrance to her house, there was a package, which Naomi carried to her room filled with various things, like books, plush dolls in shape of animals and mythical creatures, and merch and posters of her favorite shows.
When she opened the package, she was greeted with a CD-ROM, which had "Chronivac" written over it, as well as portable computer of some kind and USB drive too.
Curious, Naomi turned on her PC, inserted the CD-ROM in the player, and activated the program, which introduced itself as a program that can alter reality in many ways. She was suspicious a bit at first, but the feeling disappeared and called her dog:
"Umber, come and look at this cool thing I've got!"
The brown spotted dalmatian awoke from its rest and went to his owner, but not without bringing a chair and jumping on it to have a better look at the PC.
"So, this program claims to be reality altering program. I know it may not sound like something realistic, but, we haven't seen does it really work yet. To be honest, I think I should test it on myself first."
Said Naomi, as she looked over the options. She was pleasantly surprised that there were options to change her species as well, mainly because she was a furry artist (but she didn't like drawing pervy things). And that's when she got an idea.
Naomi decided to change herself into her fursona, but first, she decided to make everyone, except herself and Umber, unaware that she was human before. She then left her height, weight and age go unchanged, and changed her species to a robotic anthro dragon/cat/dog tribrid. She also gave herself super strength, speed, agility and invulnerability, as well as ability to alter her shape and size (without having to use Chronivac to do it, of course), electrokinesis and telekinesis.
When Naomi finished editing, she started to transform. Both her and Umber didn't quite except for program to work perfectly, but they carried on afterwards. Her skin turned into white-gray metal, with thin cyan lines glowing on her body. Her eyes turned into screen, with two dots appearing on it, same cyan color as the lines on her body, taking place of her previous human eyes. She also started gaining some animal traits, with most notable being wings and horns of a dragon, head and front paws of cat, and hindquarters of the dog.
"So, it does really work! Huh, I guess this will be my life from now on.", said Naomi while looking at her shiny metallic paws.
But then she remembered something: "Umber, would you like to try it?"
The dog nodded with his head.
"Okay then, you can do anything with the program you like, only thing I want for you is to stay friends, okay?"
