Things may have been different but for Lilith, high school remained the same. Or as close to the same as could be expected, considering half of her classes were taught by anthro or supernatural teachers.
Already Lilith had experienced a Yeti teaching History, a mummy that taught Geography, and finally an anthro zebra woman, Miss Warner, who taught English. Of the three, Lilith had to say Miss Warners was the best. The anthro zebra woman was engaged with her students, actually making Lilith care about Shakespeare. Even better for the teen was the appearance of the zebra demon Bob. Apparently Bob had a habit of visiting his girlfriend, bringing her presents, flowers, and coffee. While Lilith did find the demon endearing in horrifying way, his outfit left little to the imagination. Apparently, Miss Warner purchased Bob bikini briefs to cover himself, which only emphasized the demons enormous package.
Shaking the thought of the demon in a bikini brief out of her head, Lilith immediately made her way to the lunchroom spotting Ann waving her over. "Hey Lilith how was class?"
"Okay I guess," she shrugged. "Question though, does Bob usually stop in to see Miss Warner?" Ann and thw others laughed, knowing all too well of Bob's visits. "Pretty much," Ann smirked. "Let me guess? The bikini briefs?" Lilith nodded, shuddering at the thought as she now pulled up a chair. Gazing around the table, she was surprised to see a rather large gathering of teenagers at the table.
"So," Ann stated. "Might as well introduce you to everybody. This is Mia, the tall skinny guy is Zack, that's Gloria, Jackie, the short one is Fae, the big guy is Drake, and finally that's Winery and Pyrrha." The group now offered a polite wave and smile, Lilith studying the teens carefully and surprised by what she saw.
The most obvious was Pyrrha, the mummy teenager wrapped in fresh linen as well as the anthro dragon boy. Drake standing around 6 feet tall with leathery purple skin and wings. The others, she couldn't quite put a finger on but could sense something was different about Zack, Fae, and Winery. "So what's up with you guys?"
"Winery and Zack are werewolves," Ann stated. "And Mia is a white witch, her familiar Rexie isn't allowed on campus though. Unlike Pokoyo."
"Who's Pokoyo," Mia asked.
Almost on que, the pink, three tailed cat now jumped up on the table. The teens gasping as Pokoyo mewed at them. "Is that your familiar," Fae squealed in delight. The petite teenager now shrinking down to fairy form as she floated in front of Pokoyo’s large eyes. "Omg he's so CUTE!"
"Hello friends of Solar Pluto kyu," Pokoyo purred. "My name is Pokoyo, such a pleasure to meet all of you kyu." The teens now all began to fawn over the pink cat, scratching Pokoyo behind the ears or at the base of his tail. Pokoyo purred, his rear rising as the teens pet him. The majokko guardian savoring the attention he was receiving, unaware of the three teenagers approaching behind him.
"Hey dust butt who's the new girl?"
Turning Lilith and the others now gazed at three older teenage girls. "Oh Lilith this is Faes sister Terumi," Ann stated. "Shes a tanuki. That's her friend Rini, she's a nekomata."
"And who's that?"
"Thats Misaki. She's part kitsune and Akiras niece."
As Lilith now offered a small hello, Misaki took a moment to study the cute pink cat sitting on the table. As Pokoyo gazed into her eyes, Misaki couldn't help but get an odd feeling about the familiar. Something didn't seem right about this otherwise unassuming and cute cat. Making a mental note to talk with her uncle about it, Misaki now sat down to talk with her friends as well as keep an eye on Pokoyo.
As the day ended, Lilith now made her way towards the front of the school. As much as she loathed high school, she did like Ann's friends. They were outcasts like her, and strangely enough friendly to the goth teen. They already invited her to join them for magic practice. Apparently they all had one thing in common, they were preparing for a fight with the Normal.
As Bong-cha's car now screeched to a halt in front of her, Lilith was shaken from her thoughts. "Yo you getting in or what," Bong asked, lighting a fresh cigarette. Lilith nodded, stepping towards the car, only for Pokoyo to leap into the seat. Bong now curiously gazed at the pink cat, about to say something before a girlish scream emanated from the backseat.
"PINK KITTY!"
Jolie now practically lept over the front seat, snatching up Pokoyo before squeezing him like a child with a stuffed animal. Both Lilith and Bong raising an eyebrow as they watched the necromancer fawn over the familiar.
"OMG you have a pink kitty Lilith," Jolie squealed. "Can we keep him? I promise I'll feed him and brush him and clean up after him and Oh oh I'll buy him treats and plenty of toys! Can we keep him Bong? Please please please!?"
Lilith and Bong now looked between themselves before glancing down at Pokoyo. The pink cats face smooshed into Jolies breasts to such an extreme that he could barely utter a single word.
"Next time you want to bring your pet Guardian," Bong sighed. "Let me know so I can keep Jolie at home."
