(Okay I just want to do this for reasons even im not completely sure of.)
Ryan picked up the two medallions. one was that of a fox while the other was that of a wolf. The details were intricately done to the very last fur on the wolf's face. He wasn't a huge fan of medallions or anything like that but he did think that these might sell for a good price. Holding them in his hand though he thought that maybe he should try them on.
He slipped both medallions over his neck. First the Wolf and then the fox. At once he had a splitting headache and had to sit down because of the dizzyness. He looked at his body. It was weird on the right side, it looked as if his muscles were growing bigger however on his left side, the muscles seemed to be shrinking but remaining well-defined. The his chest stayed roughly the same as his six pack became slightly more visible. Then he could feel his ears shift. from there he felt his teeth over with his tongue as they became longer and sharper. Then his fingers lengthened into thick, razor-like claws that seemed a bit to sharp to have belonged to either of the real animals, while the same happened to his toes.
What happened next was the most astonishing however. His headache kept growing until his head literally split in two. Then a tail popped out covered in a mix of thick red and gray fur with a tuft of white at the end. Then after that two more tails popped in on each side of the original. On the right the tail was that of a wolf's while on the left it had the distinct reddish orange color with white tip of a fox's tail.
He ran out of the room farther into the basement and found a full body mirror. The left side of his body looked mostly human with thick orange fur beginning to form and sharp claws with tail, while the gray fur was taking over the right section of his body with the same characteristic features.
His ears on both of his heads started to move up triangulating as they went until they reached the top of his head and covered with the corresponding fur color. He noticed that both of his head had bright yellow eyes, just before they began to push out into muzzles. The right muzzle is slightly longer with a blunt end while the left is slightly shorter with a thin ending to it. His right head reshapes becoming flatter and slightly longer, while the other head does the same only becoming smaller as well. The fur covers their corresponding sides as his feet take on a digitigrade form with the balls of his feet becoming bigger for his wolf side and smaller for his fox side. Finally his necks lengthened and thickened slightly.
The orange and gray fur created a line right down the middle of his body, with the exception of his middle tail.
His reflection said it all for him. He was not just half-animal he was a complete freak, he could live with having been part wolf or part fox but to have both of them with two heads, three different tails and the unbalanced sides was too much.
He had to find a way out of it and the sooner the better. He ran back to the room he had been in a moment before. He looked around desparately for something that could reverse this. He tried to take off the wolf medallion and then the fox medallion but neither one budged.
He banged his fist against the table and the chest comes open revealing a new compartment complete with more medallions and a sheet of paper:
"To return to original form, complete tasks."
Tasks? What tasks? This form didn't make any sense whatsoever. It didn't explain anything, in fact he was more confused now then he had been earlier.
