Starlight blushed when she came out in the dress that starlight had picked out for her: a pink shirt dress with little poofy sleeves and a lace collar paired with black character shoes and white ankle socks. The dress was petticoated and sprinkled with glitter, her hair was tied into pigtails with matching pink bows.
“A-re you sure t-thish ish is what human girlsh wear on a-a-a-a d-d-d—.” Starlight had her stuttering cut off by her sister.
“—a date? Of course hehe, you look like a normal girl on a date, heh.” Spark stifled a laugh at her sister’s braces and how they soured her words.
“T-then w-w-when aren’t you dreshed yet? Here let me help.” Starlight said and used her magic to dress up her sister like she was.
“No! You don’t have to—“ Spark tried to stop the red head but was too late.
With a twinkling light the green haired girl was now dressed in a light blue high waisted bib dress with poofy sleeves, glitter, and petticoats, on her head was a blue bow and she wore white stockings with black Mary Jane’s.
“What the hell, I can’t go out looking like this!” Spark said blushing.
“W-why not? I thought you shaid thish ish what normal girlsh wear?” Starlight asked.
Spark, sensing her sister would catch on tried to make an excuse.
“Uh, I-it is, it’s just uh—“ she was interrupted by a knock at the bedroom door.
“We’re not ready yet Connor!” Spark tried to say but her sister had already used her magic to open the door.
“Sure we are!” The red head exclaimed.
Spark was completely embarrassed at her girly dress, this wasn’t how this night was supposed to go.
“Oh uh, you two look…uh pretty.” Connor said raising an eyebrow.
“Shut up, I’m not wearing this and you will keep your mouth shut about this, I’m going to change.” Spark grumbled and punched her boyfriend’s shoulder.
“But Deacon is already here? Don’t worry spark you look fine.” He replied.
“W-what no!” Spark refused.
Connor pulled her closer,
“You promised Midnight you two would get along. If you were tricking Star to go out dressed like that it’s only fair you do too.” Connor said.
Spark blushed as Connor led the two girls to the front door to meet up with Deacon, he smiled when he saw Starlight to which she turned red like her sister.
“What do you think? Spark picked them out.” Starlight said much to Sparks continued embarrassment.
“Whats important is that you like them.” Deacon said with a small laugh.
Spark grabbed Connor’s hand and marched them to his car,
“Come on you guys we better get going.” She said.
The red head followed the other two with her date and they drove off into town.
