“Amy” widens her eyes, surprised that Riley would ask something so direct, “Riley… I… I mean,” she then lets out a sigh, “look, this is happening really fast. You’re the first boy I will date, I never kissed a boy before, so… I guess… I’ll need a little time. I hope you understand”.
Riley’s face turns from a happy smile to a disappointed look, the boy feels the urge to use the App on the girl, but he quickly discards that idea, wanting their relationship to happen naturally. Riley lets out a sigh, “I… I understand, Amy,” he says, “sorry for asking something so direct. It… it’s just that… well, you’re my first girlfriend… I mean… I hope you will be. You are really the most beautiful girl in the universe, at least for me. I… I really do not want to risk killing the chance of you becoming my girlfriend and hopefully my future… wife. I mean… y-you are the only one I want… I know I might sound possessive, but I promise, that is not what I am!! I promise to not push nor rush you to accept or do something you don’t want, or something you don’t feel ready for. S-sorry… sorry for blabbering so much… I… it’s just that… well… um… I’m excited and nervous, since this is the first time for me too”.
“Amy” listens to Riley’s waterfall of a speech, the little “girl” can’t help but chuckle, “Riley, I understand,” she says, “don’t worry, I don’t think you are possessive or that you’d force me into anything. To be honest, if I were a boy, and I’d see a hot girl, I think I would react in the same way.”
Riley rubs the back of his head, grinning a little out of embarrassment, “hehe… I suggest we both just take it slow and easy and see how it goes,” he says, he then smiles at “Amy”, “anyway, I should get going. Maybe, when I send you my address, we can text a little tonight?”
“Amy” nods, “sure, I’d like that,” she says, smiling.
Riley smiles back, “well, talk to you later, Amy,” he says, the “girl” nods, the boy then turns to Sarah, “I’ll be seeing you around, Sarah. Thanks to both of you for giving me the chance”.
Sarah and “Amy” smile, “no problem, Riley,” they both say, “just don’t fuck it up,” Sarah adds with a warning look.
Riley nods, “I promise, I’ll be good,” he says, smiling before he turns and leaves.
Once Riley is gone, Sarah looks at “Amy”, “well, that wasn’t to bad,” she says, “I think Riley will do anything to make you happy and feel comfortable”.
“Amy” nods, watching Riley disappear around a corner, “I think,” she says, in a dreamy tone, “I think I made the right decision”. Sarah smiles, she then giggles, “Amy” looks over at the pink haired girl, raising an eyebrow, “what?”
“Oh, nothing,” Sarah says, grinning, “it’s just that I find it hilarious, that a straight boy like you accepts a date by a boy”.
“Amy” tilts her head, “yeah, it is weird,” she admits, “I mean, my mind tells me, that this is wrong, you know… that I should date girls and not boys… but my body, feelings and heart tell me that this is what is right”. The “girl” looks up at Sarah, “what do you think,” she asks, “you said that I should ignore what my mind tells me and listen to what my body, heart and feelings tell me. I am honestly starting to get a little worried and would really like to transform back into my normal self, I have the feeling, that the longer I stay “Amy”, the more I’m BECOMING her, mentally as well!”
“As I have said before: if I were you,” Sarah says, “I’d ignore what my mind is trying to tell me, because there are only three things that you should listen to, and that is what your body, feelings and heart tells you”.
“But,” “Amy” says, “I feel so confused and conflicted”.
“I’ll help you figure out what is the right thing,” Sarah says, “I want you to close your eyes and just concentrate on what and who you currently are. Try to free your mind from thoughts and just focus on your feelings, body and heart”.
“Amy” does as told, she closes her eyes and takes deep breaths, for a few minutes, “Amy” just sits there silently, ‘the longer I focus on who and what I currently am and comparing it to who and what I truly am, the more I feel as though being “Amy” is who I TRULY should be,’ she thinks to herself.
“So, Amy,” Sarah asks, “what do you feel?”
“Amy” opens her eyes, “honestly, I feel as though this is who I should be,” she says, “I feel really good being a girl, this body feels right! When I compare it to my true gender and body, I honestly feel as though that life is a lie, and that being “Amy” is who I truly am!”
Sarah smiles, “I honestly prefer you as “Amy” than “Jeff” myself,” she says, “honestly, you make a better “Amy” than the original!”
“Really,” the “girl” asks, Sarah nods and smiles, “but… I can’t stay like this… I mean… what would the real Amy and others think if a girl who looks exactly like her suddenly appears?”
“How about,” Sarah says, “you only transform into “Jeff” when you need to go to school and when you are around your family and others who know you as “Jeff”. Once you are by yourself, with me or Riley, you can be “Amy” as long as you want”.
“Amy” tilts her head, she then smiles, “that’ll work,” she says, “thanks, Sarah,” she then says.
Sarah smiles, “no problem, Amy,” she says, “now, I think it’s time for us to head home,” so they get to their feet and leave the mall.
As they walk down the street, “Amy” looks over and up at Sarah, “I really enjoyed the day with you,” she says, smiling.
“Same,” Sarah says, smiling back, “thanks for making my day so much better!”
“Amy” smiles, “and I thank you for the amazing clothes and the nice phone,” she says.
