Jen's entire body felt like pins and needles. As the feeling grew, her legs gave out from under her, and she collapsed onto the floor. This came with no pain, but she could feel her bones changing underneath her skin. What the fuck is happening to me?! she thought, silently. Unable to move, she cried as her legs twisted, her feet pushing outwards. Her hips cracked as they too grew, muscles and tendons rearranging. She felt new vertebrae adding to her spine as it pushed out into a tail that curled along behind her. At the same time, her back and neck stretched out, pushing her head farther from her body. Her chest and ribs expanded out, making room for the new stomachs crowding her abdomen.
Her breasts migrated down her body, merging as they reached her crotch. She felt them double again, her nipples growing into teats as her udder settled. Her arms pushed out, her shoulders changing with a horrible snapping sound. The bones in her hands lengthened, her toes and fingers merging together as her nails encased the tips. Hooves, she thought through her sobs. I'm growing fucking hooves!
Her skin erupted as fur spread across it. It itched like she couldn't believe, covering every last inch of her body. Only her face was spared. It was shaggy and light brown, highland cow fur. Her hair pushed out into bangs that covered her eyes, the same dun color. Her blonde hair was gone entirely. To her alarm, she suddenly found that she couldn't hear as her ears pulled into her head. Brief panic subsided as they burst forth from the sides of her head, longer and sensitive. Now they were much more keen, and the tingling subsided as she felt them swish around to various sounds. The coffee grinder, the fridge door closing, her dog's claws against the hardwood. A passing car. Birds chirped outside as if she were next to them. It was overwhelming.
As a final torment, a headache briefly pounded against her skull as two horns burst forth, pushing her head up off the ground slightly. They were heavy, and curved up and forward. With them, the tingling subsided. It was done.
She sighed, and looked up at her mirror. Laying in a pile in the middle of her bedroom was, at first glance, a highland cow. Her dun fur was long and soft, and covered everything but her face, her only remaining humanity. She shook her head to try to get her bangs out of her eyes, but only briefly succeeded. She stepped onto all fours and walked towards the mirror. Her fur shook slightly with each step as her head bobbed, and her udder pressed against her hindlegs. Her tail swished. She felt much bulkier. Walking on all fours is so... weird, she thought. But how did I walk before? She tried to remember how walking bipedally worked, but she couldn't figure it out. How would I balance all of my weight on two legs...? The steps immediately became second nature, and not feeling the carpet underhoof didn't strike her as unusual. Something in the back of her mind screamed that it felt wrong, but she couldn't remember any other way it could have felt. Like the memory of her old body was being overwritten, and she was only dimly aware.
As she stepped closer to the mirror, she tried to push her bangs out of the way with her hand, only to lift a foreleg pitifully. She cried, turning. Gone was her athletic physique, her attractive figure. She was met with the distinctive shape of a cow, and the long, dual-layer fur of a Highland. Turning all the way around, she lifted her tail, and saw she was now fully bovine. The ache to breed was intense, and she hated it. While swinging her head back around, her new horns tore a hole in the wall and knocked pictures and trophies off of her dresser. It made a horrible racket. She wanted to cry, vowing to get revenge on Kyle as her mother knocked on her door.
