After walking around for a while, Jeff and “Luke” find Mike in the old stables of the Mansion, “really Mike,” Jeff chuckles, causing the 15-year-old to let out a surprised yelp and jump, “you really are a farmer’s son! Whenever you see a barn, stables or anything related to a Ranch or Farm, you just HAVE to check it out!”
“Jesus, Jeff,” Mike says, “don’t scare me like that! And, so what? I just like the smell,” he adds with a pout.
“Luke” giggles, “it’s as if you’d rather be an animal than a human,” he says.
Mike and Jeff turn to look at the little “boy”, “what do you mean, Luke,” Mike asks, while Jeff, knowing who his “little brother” truly is, looks a little worried.
“Well, you spend as much time as possible in stables and barns,” Luke says, “at least more time than in your own room”.
Mike rubs the back of his head, “well… yeah… I might,” he says, “I just enjoy the smell, as I said, but that doesn’t mean I want to be a farm animal”.
Luke shrugs, “whatever, Mike,” he then turns to Jeff, “shouldn’t we search for the others?”
Jeff nods, “let’s go,” he says.
“Hey, wait up,” Mike calls and hurries after them.
Jeff and Mike don’t notice the evil smile on Luke’s face, nor do they notice the boy’s hand starting to glow red. When Mike is walking next to Luke, the “boy” reaches over and subtly touches Mike’s butt, injecting the spell into the boy’s body, before quickly removing his hand, Mike doesn’t notice the touch to his butt and continues to walk, unaware of what “Luke” has done.
Luke smirks to himself, ‘hehe… soon, his daddy’s farm will have a new Horsie,’ he thinks to himself, ‘OR a cow… hehe!’
“By the way, Mike,” Jeff asks, “have you seen the others?”
“I think Dean head upstairs, knowing Todd… he probably has found the kitchen, but I have no idea where Zack is… probably in the garden,” Mike says, absentmindedly scratching himself just above his butt.
Luke notices this and smirks, ‘I wonder what tail he’ll grow,’ he thinks to himself.
After a while they finally find Dean in a room which has tons of old looking figurines, most of which were animals: Raccoons, Foxes, Wolves, Squirrels, Lions, Jaguars, Leopards, Cheetahs, Panthers, Tigers, Hawks, Eagles, Rabits, Mice, Snakes, Lizards, Dragons, Unicorns, Cows, Bulls, Deer, Elks, Wasps, Bees, Flies, Butterflies, Spiders, Roaches, Ants, Worms, Horses, Zebras, Antelopes, and many others.
“There you are, Dean,” Jeff says.
“Oh, hey,” Dean says, turning around, a figurine of a Squirrel in his hand, “I’m just checking out these amazing figurines,” he says.
The others look around, “I must admit,” Jeff says, “they look really well made, some even are colored”.
Luke nods, “yeah, they look cool,” he says, Jeff looks down at his “little brother”, having to admit that the demon sure is a great actor and super convincing.
Dean nods, “yeah,” he says, “I especially love the Foxes, Raccoons and Squirrels!”
Having read Jeff’s mind and copying the knowledge about his friend’s, “Luke” knows everything about the teens, “say, Dean,” the “boy” says, “aren’t Raccoons you little brother’s favorite animals?”
Dean nods his head, “yeah… well, at least they are Greg’s favorite animals. I think Tom prefers Foxes!”
“And you love Squirrels,” “Luke” adds.
“Is that really that obvious,” Dean asks, grinning at the figurine in his hand.
The others chuckle, they then take the time to check out the figurines, no one notices “Luke” walking towards a figurine of a Fox, the “boy” grins evilly as he mumbles something under his breath. The figurine suddenly glows for a split second then vanishes suddenly, the “boy” then repeats the same with a Squirrel and Raccoon figurine, which too glow, then vanish. “Luke” turns around and grins at Dean, who has his back turned, ‘hehe… you and your brothers won’t be the same in a few days,’ he thinks to himself, ‘I made sure none of you will freak out, the “spirits” I conjured into the figurines will instantly take over your minds and bodies. You won’t even notice the takeover, and Jeff will have no idea that his friend’s have been replaced by demons, who will, like me, be super convincing and act just like if they were still the same people!’
Back at Deans home, the figurine of a Fox appears on the bedside table of Tom, on Greg’s the Raccoon figurine appears and on Dean’s the figurine of a Squirrel appears, the eyes of all three figurines glowing red, waiting for their hosts to arrive.
After they finally also found Todd and Zack, the group decides to call it a night and head home, “Luke”, having his fun with two of Jeff’s friends, decides to hold back on further “fun” and deal with Zack and Todd some other time.
When Jeff arrives back home with his “little brother”, he is surprised to see that a second room, which once had been his, now their, dad’s office. The room had changed into a small kid’s bedroom, including a bed, desk, Laptop, TV and anything a ten year-old needs, even a phone is lying on the desk. Jeff can’t help but be impressed with Loki’s magic, “do your powers ever drain,” he asks.
“Luke” smirks, “nope, my powers are limitless,” he says, “I am one of very few high class demons. Low class demons would need to feed on souls to “recharge” their energies, but I don’t need that”.
“Whoa,” Jeff says, he then yawns, “anyway, it’s been a fun day, but now I really need to get to sleep”.
“Luke” nods, “I too need to rest,” he says, he then walks up and gives Jeff a hug, “thanks again for bringing me to life,” he whispers, smiling up at Jeff.
Jeff smiles back and ruffles his “brother’s” hair, “no problem, champ,” he says, “just remember to behave yourself!”
“Yeah, yeah,” the “boy” says, rolling his eyes, “I’ll be good, don’t worry”.
Jeff chuckles, “I know you will,” he says, then leaves to his own room.
“Luke” smirks evilly, ‘hehe… if only he knew,’ he thinks to himself, ‘I have so many fun ideas what to do with you… “big brother”… hehe!’
