Humiliating. That was one of several words that would describe Felicity's feelings right now. She had been so close to regaining her adulthood, becoming the leader of the One Humanity, and becoming an integral member of the Boss’s inner circle. Instead she found herself a 16 year old girl, a Junior in High School, and forced into a school occupied by freaks.
The one conciliation was the Boss giving Felicity a brand new car, a 2024 silver Lexus RC. Pulling into a parking spot, Felicity smoothed her jeans and sweater, thankful for the school not having a uniform. Still, Choon Hee wanted her dressed properly for her first day. Gazing at her outfit, Felicity got the impression of a very rich teenage girl. "Ugh better get this over with" she grumbled.
West or rather Magic High was a complete departure from what Felicity was used to. Just passing through the halls was an experience, Felicity noticing anthros, as well as magical races. The teenage girl screwed up her nose as she noticed a nekomata boy now flirt with an anthro tiger girl. None of this made any sense, Felicity feeling as if she had stepped into a scene from the Island of Dr. Moreau. Things only became stranger as she now met with the faculty.
Although the principal was human, there were quite a few who weren't including a kitsune who introduced himself as Akira. Felicity felt herself break into a cold sweat as she stared at the 6 foot tall kitsune. The Normal and the One Humanity had a plethora of information on the kitsune warrior. He was the Guardian of the next generation of wizards as well as two students within this very school. In preparation for first day, Felicity had reviewed the Normals files on Akira.
The former second in command of the kitsune army, Akira had assisted the wizards in defeating a timeline conquering titan. Afterwards he became the personal bodyguard of a teenage werewolf and witch as well as a very powerful psychic toddler. Felicity was honestly frightened of the kitsune, especially after learning he was the one responsible for killing Casseus. "Is everything alright," Akira asked. "You look pale."
"I'm...I'm fine," she stammered. "I guess I'm just nervous about my first day." Akira nodded, offering the teen a sympathetic smile. Reaching into the pocket of his custom tailored charcoal suit, the kitsune now offered the girl a mint in hopes of putting her at ease. As Felicity ate it the only thing she wanted was to get out of there.
Class was a blur, Felicity finding the courses easy enough yet distracted by the numerous teachers. Anthro zebra women, mummy's, even one teacher that Felicity swore was a dragon. How did anyone ever learn anything in this school? As the school day mercifully came to a close, Felicity made her way towards the gym. Before she could even think of driving home, she needed a moment to breath.
"Hey get a move on!"
Felicity glanced up, noticing a very pretty blonde Senior. Unknowingly Felicity now found herself spectating cheerleading practice, the girl now barking orders to the other members as they stretched. "Winery get your ass over here now," she yelled. Felicity now watched as a Freshman girl now sprinted towards the Senior. Studying this girl carefully, Felicity realized she was staring at the princess of the Lycans. "Weird why is she still in human form," she thought, noticing Winery was a waifish yet pretty blonde teenager instead of a snow white werewolf.
"Your form is sloppy Winery," the Senior girl yelled. "Start working harder or I'm kicking your ass off this squad! I don't give a shit if you are princess of the freaking werewolves."
"Sorry Miranda," Winery replied meekly.
This interaction now caught Felicity's attention. Miranda obviously wasn't the most pleasant person, berating others to perform, but she was a leader. Felicity couldn't help admire that trait. What intrigued her though was the disdain she seemed to have for the werewolf. Observing the practice she noted that Miranda often barked at her squadmates but saved most of her venom for the pretty Freshman girl. "If you can only do that trick as a werewolf than why are you here you fuzzy bitch," Miranda yelled.
"Ugh Miranda Thomas is such a bitch," a girl sitting next to Felicity whispered
"I hear she's part of the One Humanity," the girls friend replied. Felicity watched as the two girls now whispered amongst themselves, creating rumors of the head cheerleader Miranda Thomas. For Felicity though, all she could do was sit back and watch. Miranda may not be part of the One Humanity yet, but it certainly couldn't hurt to ask.
