Leaving Kayera in the shade of a tree at the edge of the river, Ty and Argenti went to the river. Argenti had been glancing over at Ty every so often, her brow furrowed in confusion.
"We need something to carry the water back to her," Ty said, finding his throat very dry. He cupped his hands to take a drink for himself, gulping it down "Now, let's see what we can do."
Argenti's neck snapped up, and she looked over at Ty, as Ty also noticed that his voice had completely changed, sounding almost exactly like the devil he had freed.
"What are you doing with your voice?" Argenti asked, scrambling away from Ty.
"Nothing," Ty said, his voice still coming out female "I'm not doing anything."
Ty groaned, as it felt as if his entire skeleton was constricting. He heard Argenti saying something to him, but he couldn't make out the words through the pain. He felt his skin writing and burning like it were living acid trying to devour everything he was. He heard N'Karait's voice in his head
*"Be strong. Maintain your mind."*
You screamed, the pitch far higher with your new voice. Through watering eyes, you saw Argenti, with her back against a tree, and a sharp rock in her hand.
"I'm... still me," he said "Don't... attack."
The words were a struggle, but the pain was starting to ebb. He panted, covered in sweat, as he looked down at his body. He was still wearing the breast plate he had been wearing before, but it had changed, in order to accommodate a large pair of breasts.
"You're a Cambion," Argenti said, moving towards you, still holding her sharp rock.
"No," you said, your voice strained "I made a deal with a chain devil to get us out."
"Why would you do that?" Argenti asked
Ty began to take off his armour, inspiration having struck him. Ignoring his new body for now, he used the breast cups of the armour in order to fill with water, and brought it back to Kayera.
"Drink," Ty said, softly, holding Kayera's head to help her drink. Looking down at his body, Ty saw that he had changed alot. His skin was now a silver colour, similar to Argenti. His clothes had also somehow changed, He was wearing a bra, a shirt and a long skirt, which made it very obvious of his lack of something where something should be. He was now a she.
Prioritising Kayera's health over her own changes for now, she ripped a small piece of fabric from the bottom of her skirt, soaked it in the water, before putting it to the forehead of Kayera.
"If we can't get this fever down, I don't think she'll survive much longer," Ty said, looking to Argenti "If you're going to try to kill me, get to it, or get to helping."
