Brooke skips back to you with a pleased look on her face, holding a pair of black leather gloves with a different design stamped into the palm of each one. On the left hand appears to be a human brain surrounded by some kind of arcane sigil, and on the right is a set of arrows that all seem to converge onto a single amorphous shape.
"Touch a willing subject with the left glove," Brooke reads from the attached note. "Then with the right glove, touch ONLY the object to which the mind should be transferred. If the mind should be transferred to two objects, such as a pair of shoes, touch both at the same time. To reverse the effect, touch the object(s) and the subject's body with the opposite gloves. Recommend human subjects with inanimate objects only."
"So, you could transfer my consciousness into, say, your bra? Or my car?" You ask, skeptical.
"I'm buying these," she says with a sly smile and a nod to answer your question. "We'll only go for an hour or so but I have an idea I'd like to try."
"Alright," you say, still not convinced. "I'm trusting you."
"Thanks!" She smiles as she heads toward the register to make her purchase.
You're curious the entire car ride home from the magic shop, but Brooke won't give any hints, simply stating that she thinks you'll love it. You get home and strip naked before laying on the bed, waiting nervously. Brooke comes to bed, the gloves now on her hands.
"Ready?" She asks with a knowing smile.
"Ready," you say.
Brooke reaches out, and the second the glove makes contact with your forehead you feel a strange headache before you black out completely. As you regain consciousness, you realize that you cannot see, you cannot speak, and your body feels like a completely different shape than normal. You feel a pair of hands suddenly grab you and begin caressing your new shape - there is some sound, but everything is muffled and you can't quite hear the words that Brooke is saying to you in your new form. It takes a moment of concentrating on your sense of touch before you realize what exactly she's put your consciousness into.
