Your wings wobble and you crash to the ground. Luckily, you fall in a sunflower, which means you have nothing broken or really hurt. Alas, your relied is very short-lived. A net, usually employed to catch butterflies, falls upon you and you get caught in it, all to get hoisted in the air and seeing a big fist seizing it above you, followed by a horrid face. It must be a troll or a goblin, it's so ugly with its huge smashed nose and rows of teeth that simply appear broken. His smile looks stupid and plain mean at the same time.
"Lucky me," the monster exclaims. "I was out to gather ingredients to sell to warlocks but I've caught myself a wee little baby fairy! You'll fetch a whole lot more than those other plants!"
He stomps away, overjoyed with his catch and thinking about all the drinks he'll buy once he sells you and get a good stash of coins out of it. He grins goofily while you protest at being caught in a net and at shouting at him that' he's wasting his time because you are not a stupid fairy kid but a transformed human male. You're not a girl, let alone a little girl!
"Whatever you say, pumpkin," laughs the awful troll. "All I know is that you'll give me pretty pennies and the rest does not concern me. So be quiet or I'll be tempted to squish you."
As you'll bring him a fat load of cash, you doubt he'd carry out his threat. Nevertheless, you don't want to tempt fate and remain silent and he stomps through the woods.
Once he arrives at a trader's place, a fay creature that looks like a troll, ogre or goblin also, the merchant dumps you in a jar with holes and places you on a shelf. He haggles with the other foul being and then goes back to sorting out his business and wares. You shout and bang on the jar walls but you're too weak and small. The trader grumbles that he'll send messages of your sale around but that if you don't stop your annoying behaviour, he will not feed you soon. So you stop, sitting and wondering with apprehension who will want you. Little do you know that fay creatures will line up for you. After all, as a transformed human, you can be transformed further and adopted, which makes you very, very high in demand.
