Sean was a young working adult. Single. He had had a hard day at work, and was looking forward to collapsing in bed. He had no one to look forward to greeting him at home. That was... Not normal?
Sean shook his head. It was as if he had forgotten something... Someone important, but it was like trying to remember a dream, he just couldn't remember who it was. There was a strong sense of pain in his chest.
Sean opened the door to his house and went inside, only to suddenly realize he had just entered a bar? It wasn't very crowded tonight, but the clientele that was there was all female. Sean felt very out of place.
"Hi hon, my name is Liz! Nice to meet you." Said the bartender. "I'm a witch, I temporarily connected your house to my bar. I don't normally greet folks like this, but someone broke one of the rules. It's not the first time, nor will it be the last. Hmm..."
Liz gave Sean a judgemental gaze and examined him. "Doesn't seem like your a bad person, so I will give you a chance. Do you feel like you've forgotten someone important?"
Sean stared at her, not sure what to say.
"Mortals occasionally complain to me about stuff like 'conditioning', 'brainwashing' and 'informed consent'. Maybe it's just because I have fairy blood, but I've never really understood what their problem is. My patrons are happy aren't they? I'll admit that certain stuff does cross a line though. Are you starting to remember a woman named Elizabeth?"
Like lightening, memories suddenly flashed through Sean's head. His fiance. How could he have forgotten someone so important?
"So here's the deal hon. My bar turns men and straight women into lesbians and ensures their happiness."
Even though Liz's words defied all of Sean's common sense, he could only believe she was speaking the truth.
"Someone tried to abuse the magic in my bar to pull a fast one on you and Elizabeth. Elizabeth technically remembers you exist, but you are not important to her right now. So I am giving you a choice."
"Here's a drink on the house. If you drink it, it will slowly turn you into a lesbian, and it will immediately make you part of Elizabeth's life again. And then you can confront Jessica. The drink will make all three of you be affected by the enchantments on the bar. Your actions will change one another."
"The other choice is to simply leave. You will forget that you were ever close to Elizabeth as the bar's magic rewrites her life. There's a chance Elizabeth will ask me to change things back on her own, but it's a small one. If you aren't willing to go to extra lengths to fight for your love, then you don't deserve her. If you really want to, you two do have the option of changing back when everything's resolved."
"So, what is it going to be?"
