There's a hole-in-the-wall bar in an average American college town. It doesn't look like much from the inside, though it's cozy on the inside, and it seems like every night the same woman, attractive and of indeterminate age, is serving the drinks. She's the same Liz to which the bar's name refers, in fact, and both she and her place are rather more than what meets the eye.
It doesn't take a close observer to tell that the bar's patrons are almost all female, and there's a reason for that. Liz's has long served as a haven for lesbian and bi women, whether from the college or the town - some of the women here are single, looking for a date or one night stand; others are here with their girlfriends or wives for a night out; still others are looking to figure out their sexuality and figure this is a place to do it. Of course, not everyone knows what clientele Liz caters to. Sometimes a man, or a straight woman, shows up. And when they do, strange things start happening...
You see, the Liz who tends the bar these days is the same Liz who founded the bar more than twenty years ago. She's older than she looks - she's also a witch. And the whole place is wound around with enchantments. If a man stays too long, he may find himself starting to change. The more he drinks, or the more he chats with the regulars, the faster it'll happen, but sooner or later, the magic will get him. He'll find himself checking out the women around him, even if he didn't swing that way to start with, and before too long his body and mind will be transformed as he becomes the lovely lesbian of his dreams - and maybe, if he, or rather she, is lucky, she'll find a girl willing to take her home and show her how to put that new body to best use. A straight woman, on the other hand, will also find herself checking out the other women and will gradually forget whatever attracted her to men in the first place - and she might change physically too, though not so much as a man would, as her body is altered to better express her new attractions. And the strange thing is, people inside the bar will notice and remember the changes, but to people outside, once Liz's changes you, everyone will remember that as how you've always been.
The rumor is that Liz will change you back to how you were, if you ask her nicely. But strangely enough, it seems like few do. Seems most customers leave Liz's Bar happy - one way or another.
There's also rumors that there are other bars in the same town, run by various warlocks or sorcerers, that cater to different demographics - gay men, straight couples, or bisexuals or any stripe - that can have similar effects. But come on. How much weirdness can one town hold, anyway?
