Josie looked at the audience as she chose her next volunteer. "Felicia!" She called. Everyone cheered as Felicia made her way to the stage. Felicia Wilde had lived up to her name as the school's resident party girl, and had often entertain with her various antics.
Her costume was also very entertaining. She wore what one might call a fur bikini, all in grey and white. This match how she colored her hair. She had dog ears on either side of her head, as well as a dog tail hanging on the back of her bikini bottoms. With some sharper canines and fake claws, her costume was complete.
"So Felicia, mind telling us about your costume?" Josie began.
"Sure, I'm a malamut. Kind of like the cousin to the husky."
"Why a malamut specifically?"
Felicia gave a smirk. "Well, because when I ask Derek if he could have any breed of dog what would he want, and he said malamut."
Josie glanced at the audience at Derek who blushed. While Felicia was extremely extroverted, Derek was painfully introverted. He probably was embarrassed to death by his girlfriend being his pet as her costume. How those two started dating, Josie wasn't sure.
"Oh so this is for Derek then." Josie smiled. "In that case, let's get him on stage too." Woth the help of cheering and peer pressure, Derek soon joined them. He was dressed somewhat normally. Besides the leash and color in his hands, he looked like he always did. "Whats your costume?" Josie asked.
Derek fumbled over his words and Felicia answered for him. "He's my owner." At his blush, her grin grew. Felicia seemed to enjoy embarrassing him.
"Well, I'm glad your owner is letting you participate in the show. Derek, make sure Felicia is a good girl while on stage. Training her is part of your job." Derek's stuttering and embarrassment only seemed to grow.
In response Felicia gave a playful growl followed by a small bark.
"First, I think we should put the collar on. Why did you take it off?" Josie asked.
"It itches some, but I'm fine with putting it back on." Felicia gathered her hair which had be fluffed out for her costume. Holding her hair and staring at an unmoving Derek, she started tapping her foot. "Oh master...where is my collar?"
At that Derek started putting the collar back on her. This time Josie heard him muttering, "you only plan on getting worse with this aren't you?"
"Well maybe if you disciplined me like an owner should." She whispered back.
Once the collar was on, Derek stepped back, still holding the leash. Josie approached him. "I'll need the leash for a minute. Don't worry, I'll give it back when I'm done."
Derek gave her the leash and Josie walked in front of Felicia. The whole experience was nerve racking. She noticed the exaggerated sway of her hips, but she wasn't sure if that was natural since she was a girl now, or had something to do with the high heels. She looked up at Felicia. As a guy Joe had been taller then her but it seems Josie was on the short side.
She held up the leash, and dangled one end below her hands. "Now Felicia, watch very carefully." She started to swing the leash back and forth, and Felicia's eyes drooped. "Felicia, you feel your fur, and your tail. You came here dressed as a malamute, but when I snap my fingers you will realize it isn't only a costume. You really are a dog. A dog that is well trained and knows a lot of tricks."
Josie made a mental wish to enforce her will on Felicia. She snapped her fingers and Felicia immediately crouched down on all fours and barked. "Good girl!" Josie praised her and scratched her behind the dog ear she wore. Felicia wiggled her butt and made her tail wag.
"Now, beg." Josie commanded.
Felicia leaned back on her feet and held her hands out in front of her, pointed downwards. Felicia gave a faint whine.
"Good!" Josie pet her. Felicia panted in response. Josie acted like she was reaching behind Felicia's ear, and pulled out a ball. "Now, fetch!"
Josie threw the ball into the audience and Felicia bolted after it, dragging her leash behind her. The audience laughed as Felicia ran in-between the aisles chasing the ball. When she finally caught it, she picked it up in her mouth and brought it back to Josie. She dropped the ball in front of her and gave a happy little bark.
Once again, Josie gave her a pet as a reward. She picked up the leash and put it in Felicia's mouth. "Now, go to owner." Josie ordered.
Still walking on all fours, Felicia went to Derek, and offered him her leash. Derek took it and stared at his hypnotized girlfriend and she continued to wag her tail and look up at him.
"Watch her for a moment." Josie quickly rushed off stage and came back with a cage on a platform with wheels. Monique came out with a ramp and attached it to the front. "Now Derek, please guide Felicia into the cage."
Derek began to pull on the leash and gently said, "Come on." Felicia did not need any more prompting then that, and gladly walked up the ramp. Once inside, Josie closed the door and locked it.
Felicia turned around in it to face the audience. Derek fed the leash through the bars so he could hold onto it a bit better.
"Felicia has made a good dog so far but I say we take this one step further." Josie pulled on a string and a blue curtain raised within the cage cutting Felicia off from view. The leash was pulled up to the top of the cage and Felicia barked at her discontent at not being able to see anyone.
Josie reached into a small hole in front of the curtain. "Paw." She ordered. Josie then withdrew her hand holding Felicia's. "Derek, come hold her hand for a moment."
Derek obeyed and took his girlfriend's hand. "Now, on the count of three, Felicia will fully embrace her costume. One...two... three"
On three Felicia quickly pulled her hand back behind the curtain which immediate fell, revealing a malamute. The leash Derek still had was attached to her collar.
Josie opened the opened the cage and had Derek guide her out. "Well, we all knew Felicia was born to be wild. Tonight, she can really explore that side of herself, as can anyone else in an animal themed costume."
Josie noticed some girls with cat ears or in bunny suits who were getting nudges from those around them. "For now, Derek you can retake your seat. It's time for a new volunteer to help with the show."
