Lucas sprinted back the way he came. It was easy to find his way, he just had to run where all the commotion was coming from.
He quickly reached the edge of the treeline, where he was greeted by the sight of another boy. Or at least that was what he thought he was looking at, since it didn't look like a normal boy anymore!
The boy turned around towards Lucas, and pleaded for help, "Please turn me back!". The boy, was covered in fur and had the same ears as Lucas. In addition, the boy also had hand like feet, that didn't fit in his shoes anymore, and a big bushy tail, attached to his rear.
Lucas gasped in shock as he recognized that voice. "Jesse? Is that you?" Lucas asked softly. The monkeyboy nodded, "Yes, it is me, I don't want to be a monkey!" Jesse said, with tears in his eyes.
Lucas ran past him, trying to look for help, but what he discovered, was more startling then what he thought.
Everyone in the camp had undergone changes. One boy looked fairly normal, except for that giant tail, he held in his hands, while another walked on all four and wasn't even recognizable anymore, if he weren't wearing clothes still.
Lucas ran for the bridge that led to the guides camp, wanting desperately to get help, his arms were now fully covered in thick fur.
Before he reached the bridge however, he heard a single clap, coming from the center of the now monkeyboy's camp.
There stood the guide, that had addressed them all before.
"Now now boys, settle down", the guide said, even though everyone was still panicking, they all went quiet and listened.
"As we have said before this is an experiment, you all signed up for this" the guide chuckled, as he looked at the crowd of monkeyboys.
"What have you, ook ook, done to us!" a boy yelled from the back of the group. "Please I don't want to be a monkey", whimpered Jesse, who looked almost exactly like a monkey if it weren't for his face.
"Now relax everyone, after the program is done you will all be cured, as long as you stay within the area", the guide said, which sparked some reactions of relief from the boys.
Lucas was curious though, he did see a group of monkeys in the woods earlier, he looked up, and raised his hand.
"Sir, what happens when we leave the area? Because I saw a group of monkeys earlier, and now I am afraid that will happen to us!" he asked, the guide, flashed a menacing grimace. "You saw the remainders of the last group didn't you? The area we are in right now, is marked of by a group of beacons. This emit a frequency that keep your transformations from reaching a permanent state. Stay within this area, and you can be cured. The group of monkeys you saw earlier were indeed boys like you, that left the zone. Because of this they couldn't be cured anymore, and are now monkeys forever" The guide said with a hint of remorse in his tone, that did not reflect the emotions of his face.
"Even one second out of the zone, will render you incurable. So stay in the area!" He warned one last time. "Now I know this might not be what you signed up for, but this is why we gave you absolute freedom! Do anything you want, climb a tree, monkey around! Hell if I care, you can even all decided to walk around naked for the rest of the experiment and have permanent orgies!" The guide said. The last part was reacted to by a bunch of laughter from the boys, who seemed to have calmed down.
Knowing the changes weren't permanent seemed to have helped enough to make it actually a bit more enjoyable.
The guide continued once more, "So boys, you can do all you want, just don't go outside the zone, if anyone else has anymore questions you can come to one of us and we will answer them for you", with that final message the boys dispersed, some still shaken about their new appearance whilst others were actually already enjoying it, a couple boys already decided that wearing clothes wasn't worth it anymore and were prancing about, cocks hanging between their legs.
Lucas sat on a bench for a bit, brushing the fur on his arms, and decided his next plan of action.
